Several past games are already being considered for ports, including the Dungeon Travelers series and Routes. Shimokawa also said that a port of the PlayStation 3 version of Tears to Tiara, which had been difficult for Aquaplus to revisit on its own, may now be more realistic.

Beyond ports, both sides expressed interest in creating something entirely new together rather than simply extending an existing series. Shimokawa mentioned a simulation RPG or a new fighting game as realistic possibilities, while also saying the companies have discussed eventually taking on a larger RPG project with outside partners.

Yuke’s president, Yukinori Taniguchi, said the company’s long-term goal is not just to strengthen its own IP lineup, but to eventually challenge itself with AAA development. He framed Aquaplus as a valuable partner in that effort because of its strengths in story, characters, and music.
