cuối cùng cũng đã có patch cho GTA4, tớ đã test thử và đây là kết quả:
_ về lỗi texture: do trước khi patch máy tớ ko bị lỗi mất texture nên ko biết nó có fix đc hay ko, bác nào bị thì cài patch thử xem có hết ko.
_ về lỗi fps ko ổn định: nhận xét là sau khi cài patch thì fps tăng 1 tí (~6-10 fps) và ổn định hơn, để kiểm chứng thì tớ đã leo lên xe chạy thử, lúc chưa patch thì fps có khi xuống ~12-16 ở những chỗ xe đông, sau khi patch thì rất ít khi xuống dưới 20 fps
_ về lỗi ko chơi bowling đc với chuột dỏm: đã test thử với con mitsumi cùi lót trên tờ giấy A4, kết quả là đẩy nhẹ phát là ném liền => đã fix.
_ còn mấy cái khác tớ chưa nhận thấy gì khác biệt, để chơi từ từ rồi xem tiếp.

down về rồi giải nén
cách cài: chép lại các file gốc (vd GTAIV.exe, LaunchGTAIV.exe, Paul.dll,...) vào thư mục game, sau đó chạy file setup.exe từ patch là xong.

cách sao lưu file save để phòng khi cần (phải chỉnh tùy chọn cho phép thấy file và folder ẩn trong Folder Options):
1/ Win XP: sao lưu 2 folder sau:
C:\Documents and Settings\{tên User}\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\XLive
C:\Documents and Settings\{tên User}\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games
2/ Win Vista: (sẽ cập nhật sau)

===== Cách khắc phục lỗi camera chỉ hướng lên trời sau khi patch: ======
With the latest Title Update, some users are experiencing a Look/Spin/Stuck Key issue that interferes with user input. The temporary fix, described below, will restore Keyboard/Mouse and XInput (360) controller functionality. Support for DirectInput devices is currently limited. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

To fix the issue:

A1) Unplug any DirectInput controllers (gamepads, joysticks etc..)
A2) Reboot your computer
A3) Launch GTA IV

If the issue persists, the following instructions are provided as a guide to assist you in deleting the conflicting DirectInput drivers:

B1) Exit game
B2) Go to Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager->Human Interface Devices
B3) Locate drivers for devices
B4) Delete drivers for devices
B5) Launch GTA IV

Some users are able to reinstall the drivers for their DirectInput devices, with the device attached, and have found that it will work in game. If you do attempt to reinstall your device and the problem resurfaces, please follow steps B1-B5 again.

A1) rút dây cắm của các thiết bị game như gamepad, joysticks, vô-lăng đua xe,...
A2) khởi động máy lại và chơi GTA4 bình thường

nếu ko có kết quả, làm tiếp các bước sau:
B1) thoát game (nếu ko chơi thì khỏi thoát :)))
B2) vào Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager->Human Interface Devices
B3) tìm driver của các thiết bị đó và xóa nó đi (uninstall)
B4) chơi GTA4 bình thường

nếu vẫn muốn chơi với gamepad hoặc joystick, cài lại driver sau khi làm theo các bước từ B1 -> B3
 
Đây là thông tin về patch:
# A fix to the crash after legal screen that some German customers were reporting.
# Numerous improvements to the video editor: Smarter naming of videos, improved rendering quality, better FX during replays
# Fix to bowling while using certain sensitive mice
# Fix for ATI 1900 shadows
# Overall savings to memory
# Graphic improvements to particle systems and mirrors
# Multiplayer character settings are preserved
# Support for DirectInput controllers. Note: The current hack way of supporting these controllers may not work with the improved functionality. So we recommend you remove the hack before upgrading to the patch.

Issues with power management software have also been fixed (slow speed, double speed issues). Even after the patch comes out setting power management software to maximum performance is recommended. We’ve seen cases where power management software does not detect the game is running and puts the CPU in green mode.

Besides the patch we’ve also improved the way the Social Club handles data this should have greatly reduced or eliminated the MMA10 error. If you are still receiving this error after logging in and out of Social Club we would like to know as much info as you can about it.

Patch này hiện chưa release trên trang chủ R* nhưng anh em bị lỗi cứ chiến thôi :cool: Tí ăn cơm xong test luôn
 
nếu đúng như bác nói thì bác là ng may mắn I nhỉ~.~chả ai dùng dc cả mà bác lại dc tăng fps::(
 
Patch đồ họa có lâu rồi mà pác.

Sau khi patch thì con 8500gt cùi ghẻ của em lên được hết texture \:D/ hay quá

thế là mọi người được thỏa mãn rồi nhé
 
Chà, cài cái patch này chất lượng hình ảnh và fps cải thiện hẳn :D

Anh em nào xài xong cho em biết kết quả với. Sao cài rối chẳng thấy được gì cả =.= Vẫn chưa lên max được :((
 
cái patch vẫn chẳng tăng dc fps nào cả,còn tăng max vẫn phải dùng commandline~.~
 
Vẫn phải chỉnh xuống mấy cái distance, density và mấy thanh kéo =.= Chạy xe có thể tăng thêm vài frms và phải dùng commandline X( Phải đợi offical patch thôi. Chán chết >.<
 
Patch này là OFFICAL rồi, còn đợi cái gì nữa? Tình hình là sau khi up xong tớ vẫn bị lỗi mất texture. FPS thì vẫn xêm xêm, còn bowling thì chưa thử. Tóm lại là chả khác gì lúc chưa up cả :(
 
Cái này offical rồi à. Vậy em chuẩn bị đi đốt nhà bọn R đây X( THấy chẳng có gì khác. Vậy làm patch làm cái giống gì.
Khuyến cáo bà con cô bác đừng nên patch :o
 
Ai mà ko bị lỗi gì đừng nên patch, patch xong thấy mất texture nhiều hơn, Frame tụt kinh hơn :nailbit: Có mỗi cái bowling là ngon, strike với spare liên tục :cool:
 
mới mua cái đĩa về xong chưa kịp cài đã thấy có patch mới, chắc cài trước vô test thử, nếu thấy lỗi quá thì mới down:D
