Truyện kể rằng xưa kia tại Hy Lạp, với khao khát được bay lượn tự do như loài chim chàng trai trẻ Icarus đã tự mình làm được đôi cánh từ lông vũ và sáp ong. Nhờ đôi cánh này, Iacrus có thể bay lượn khắp nơi và khám phá được một vương quốc nằm ẩn mình trên không. Tại đây anh tình cờ gặp được Nyx một tiên nữ có cánh với sắc đẹp đầy quyến rũ...

Cả hai nhanh chóng trở thành đôi bạn thân gắn bó. Tuy nhiên, Icarus chỉ có thể gặp được bạn thân của mình vào mỗi buổi sáng bởi khi màn đêm buông xuống, cả vương quốc kỳ lạ trên không kia lẫn Nyx đều lần lượt biến mất.

Một ngày nọ, sức nóng của mặt trời đã thiêu rụi mọi nơi trên mặt đất. Đôi cánh của Icarus cũng bị chính sức nóng khủng khiếp của mặt trời thiêu rụi và chàng trai rơi xuống mặt đất. Nóng ruột vì không gặp lại được bạn thân của mình, tiên nữ Nyx quyết định đáp cánh xuống hạ giới với hy vọng tìm được Icarus.

Sức nóng khủng khiếp của mặt trời làm giảm khả năng bay lượn của Nyx khá nhiều. Cô chỉ có thể bay được khoảng cách ngắn được biểu hiện thông qua một biểu kế nằm ở góc trái màn hình. Ngoài kỹ năng bay được trang bị sẵn ngay từ đầu trò chơi, ở những màn chơi sau Nyx còn được trang bị thêm nhiều kỹ năng hữu ích khác như di chuyển đồ vật (Telekinesis), điều khiển hướng gió (The Power of Wind) và thi triển sấm sét (Little Ray of Sunshine).

Những kỹ năng này sẽ được vận dụng để giải quyết những cạm bẫy cũng như những câu đố mà Nyx sẽ phải đối mặt trên đường đi. Chẳng hạn, để vượt qua những bẫy chông nhọn và dòng cát nóng chảy, người chơi phải dùng khả năng dịch chuyển đồ vật của Nyx để tận dụng những hòn đá tảng nằm ven đường trở thành cầu tạm để vượt qua. Cũng với kỹ năng này, bạn có thể chụp những quả cầu lửa để đốt cháy những thùng chắn ngang đường nhằm tạo lối đi mới, hoặc dùng chúng để đối phó với lũ kền kền háu đói.

Nhìn chung, cách thiết kế màn chơi và các tình huống trong game được nhà sản xuất đặt ra khá chặt chẽ buộc người chơi luôn phải động não, kết hợp với óc quan sát và kỹ năng điều khiển nhân vật khá thành thục mới có thể hoàn thành suôn sẻ.

Song hành cùng cách chơi lôi cuốn, chất lượng hình ảnh của NyxQuest cũng rất ấn tượng với gam màu chủ đạo là vàng cam theo đúng bối cảnh mà game đang hướng tới. Cảnh nền và chuyển động các nhân vật cũng được chăm chút khá tỉ mỉ. Chất lượng nhạc nền tuy chưa đạt đến "đỉnh" nhưng truyền tải và bám khá sát diễn biến game. Điểm đáng phàn nàn là các sinh vật trong game còn quá đơn điệu và chỉ lặp đi lặp lại hai loại cố định là kền kền và rắn khổng lồ.

Thời lượng chơi của game cũng chỉ cô đọng trong khoảng 3 giờ, nên cũng khó giữ chân được game thủ lâu. Mặt khác, do kết cấu tuyến tính và không có nhiều phụ lục hấp dẫn nên giá trị chơi lại của game gần như không có. Tuy nhiên, nhờ cách chơi "độc" và phần nhìn rất ấn tượng của mình NyxQuest vẫn có sức lôi cuốn rất đáng kể với số đông game thủ

Fuyukawa Kokoro, a third-year sociology major, boards a plane bound for Hokkaido to meet a research subject in the Specified Psychiatric Hospital for Isolation and Aegis, or SPHIA. For unknown reasons, her plane crashes in the mountains in the middle of a snowstorm. Of the 31 passengers, only she, Yuni Kusuda, Seiji Yomogi, and Lin Mayuzumi survive unharmed. Unable to establish communication with the outside world due to the fierce snowstorm, the four decide to take shelter in an empty cabin and wait until the storm passes.

As if the trauma, freezing temperature and debilitating hunger weren't enough, the survivors must deal with something even more frustrating. A newspaper is found in the cottage dated July 4, 2011 - well off in the future. The paper claims that the survivors of the crash, save Yuni, will die in an avalanche in seven days.

Satoru Yukidoh, a graduate student in the field of quantum physics, falls from the SPHIA clock tower. He later awakens with some memory loss and the realization that someone is out to kill him. Unable to leave the SPHIA facility due to a snowstorm, Satoru's only chance at living is to find that person among the three other residents (or perhaps the hidden culprit) of SPHIA.

Both Kokoro and Satoru soon realize that, their "consciousnesses" are experiencing a kind of exchange, in which Kokoro's mind takes control of Satoru's body in SPHIA as Satoru's mind enters Kokoro's body in the mountain cabin.

However, a boy named Yuni Kusuda appears at both locations. How is this possible?

Vào ngày 2/8, EA đã công bố "Create", tựa game mới mà họ đang phát triển. EA cho biết "Create" là một tựa game giải đố mà người chơi có thể dùng trí tưởng tượng của mình để tìm ra lời giải.
"Create sử dụng trí tưởng tượng của cả gia đình để đưa ra một cách chơi mới, vừa thú vị vừa đầy thách thức", Harvey Elliott, phó chủ tịch kiêm quản lý EA Bright Light cho biết. "Chúng tôi muốn thiết kế một game mà cả gia đình có thể cùng nhau tham gia giải các câu đố.
