BlazBlue Continuum Shift II coming to PSP
Arc System Works has confirmed that they are on the process of converting the Japanese arcade title BlazBlue Continuum Shift II into Sony's handheld.
In case you were not aware, Continuum Shift II is just an enhanced version of BlazBlue Continuum Shift re-released in arcades with all the download content unlocked.
According to the latest issues of Dengeki, the PSP version will "combine all the content of the arcade game with some new features." This means the addition of six new characters, for a total of eighteen playable characters in all. It will also include scenarios and an Abyss mode which the mag says will "be full of gameplay" and speculates that it may be a "dungeon RPG."
Other modes will include; Arcade, Versus, Story, Tutorial, Score Attack, Training, Challenge, Legion, Gallery, Options and Wireless. The Story mode will feature all new stories from producer Toshimichi Mori. Legion Mode, returning from the previous portable installment, is getting new stages and gameplay systems while the wireless play mode will be ad-hoc based and will support four players, with two fighting and two watching.
BlazBlue Continuum Shift II is slated to arrive in Japan this Spring. No word yet on the international release.

The record-breaking physics title that is currently sweeping the iOS, Android OS and WebOS-based devices will be heading to Sony's handheld soon. Yes folks, it's Angry Birds, and we got the first gameplay trailer from the PSP version of the highly addictive game, right down below.
Developed by Finland-based Rovio Mobile, the upcoming title is slated to arrive in the PlayStation Network real soon.

Uncharted May Brave New PSP2 Frontiers

Naughty Dog proved that they knew how to expand upon the ideas and popularity of an original title to create a recognizable series, with the phenomenal Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The series has, however, remained on the PlayStation 3, with no version on the PSP, but a recent rumor suggests that there may in fact be a new, portable adventure planned for Nathan Drake.
Issue 213 of Game Informer spoke of an exchange between some hidden developers behind the scenes for the fabled PSP2. According to these minds, the new system is not only in production, but may even have an Uncharted title in production that could hit store shelves as early as “holiday 2011″.
The developers we talked to described the PSP2 as a very powerful machine, and we’ve even heard that a new Uncharted spin-off – which could even stand in for a full-on Uncharted 3 – is in the works. That alone is news, but it also speaks to how powerful the graphical capabilities are for the handheld.
The issues went to press before the unveiling of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, so it seems more likely that the spin-off would come in the form of a prequel to Drake’s adventures rather than the next in the installment, like God of War: Chains of Olympus.
Rumors are undecided on the true power of the PSP2, but real, official news from Sony could be right around the corner, with the CES 2011 kicking off in less than 17 days: January 6th-9th, where either the PSP Phone, or PSP2 are expected to be announced.
