Mandatory Patch + News 5/10/2011
Alright so I've migrated the forums into a new location and completely re-installed them this all goes along with the re-vamping I've been doing to the dpshop it's self as well...
The Hackings
I re-imported all the users but I've also banned a crap load of accounts which were compromised by the 'hacker' (We'll just refer to him as the infamous "Script Kiddie" here)... managed to gain access to.
Also upon searching logs I managed to figure out he was in-fact attempting to brute force accounts starting with his own "voldoom" he was using a 3rd party tool known as "brutus" I honestly haven't seen that thing since like 1998 some hacker right?
Anyway any of the users who have had their accounts hijacked will need to post in the ban appeal section or contact the supplied email within their ban message (You'll know what I mean).

As a precautionary measure I've made password changes mandatory by forcing all of your passwords to expire so that any users who he may have brute forced and hadn't logged into yet have gotten their passwords changed before he has the chance .
Don't say I don't do anything about the issues on this server because I do keep an eye at everything that is going on and I may already be doing something against it the thing is you really never know because you're not sitting at my house watching my every move...
I've been working on other things as well as decent methods to prevent these 'hackings' from occurring any longer.
On to the news...
So as you can already see I've upgraded the forum to a new/different template the reason behind this is it's going to fit our new little style
(The forum URL has also changed http://rh.xor-networks.com).
This means the main website will now be http://rh.xor-networks.com as well, although the old URL rohan.xor-net.com may still be forwarded here at a later time.
Mandatory Patch
In light of the change of servers with the forum you're now required to rename "Patch1.exe" to "XorRohan.exe" within our XorRohan folder this new patcher provides access to the new database for log-ins and the old one is going to be taken offline in the next day or so.
Note: - not working? Try this!
You also have the option of simply running Patch1.exe and it should automatically handle the update, ( Renaming it's self )
If you don't have a "Patch1.exe" load the XorRohan.exe launcher and allow it to download it then run "Patch1.exe" after it's completed.
If you do not do this you WILL NOT be able to log-in!.

I have yet to sleep however after I get my few hours I'm going to be back up alive and programming working hard on the dpshop...

'Donating' for Points
I am still in the process of re-coding this portion of panel because we're going to have a more organized and formal system implemented in order for this to happen...
This will make things easier on me as well as the rest of you because it will help both of keep track of whats what (You'll see what I mean when it's actually ready for release).
ETA: Tonight if not tomorrow morning ( I still need to get some sleep ).
Give Away / Downtime Compensation
Give me some time to get everything sorted and I will discuss with the admins what item or item(s) should be given away to normal players as some sort of an event simply handing it out to every currently created character ( Most likely above a certain level ).
As well as what I'm going to give donors as far as a point value ( I need to figure out how I'm going to go about the 'giving' of the points programming wise as well ).
But after everything is back online stable, and running properly we'll get into that and a lot more including starting to get some events or etc going.
