I was actually planning to make this instance drop things that are either not obtainable or very hard to obtain. And by this I don't mean like yeyho, free Flame-Kirin. What I mean is doing something unique. Like the Sunday Boss drops x2 OC (Players can get OC from Instance), and the Origin of Pain (Essence boss) drops x2 GS (Cannot be obtained in-game thus far).
As for MF Drops, that's not something I mind, but there are many ways I thought of it that could screw it up. Stats:
1-MF Per Mob:
30-40 MF/run
90-120 MF/week
1-MF PACK Per Mob:
300-400 MF/run
900-1200 MF/week
It either gets waay too much, or way too little. So the compromise I had in mind was to add MF-Pack in replacement of the Dragons that Drop shields. That'd be around 12-14 Dragons maybe? So roughly 120-140 Per run, 360-420 Per week. Does that sound fair?
Remade a little bit... The changes apply with the criteria of changing the Event to only be twice a week, not three times a week... And also very strong bosses/mobs.

Since it's always 100% to one of the six guys in your party.
I really didn't consider it to be that big a deal since it's literally only One Goldshine each for two out of six people, and not even every run. It takes 80 Essences to spawn the boss that drops it.
But if it's that big a problem, then by all means, throw other Last-Boss-worthy item-drops my way and I can change it from GS to something else.
Additionally, if there's any other changes you want done to the server, this is the time to say them.
