I work in Finland on dubbing the local version and I worked on the final 2 episodes. We worked on them in batches so this was the only 2 I worked on. I only saw the script. I don’t remember what order these take place in as this was last year but here is what I recall:

It is revealed that Sword took apart Thanos’s ship that crashed in endgame, including his quantum gate tech. When Wanda found visions body she used her magic with the Thanos tech to pull a version of Vision from alternate timeline right when he was made with no memories. However he is anchored to his own timeline and by extension the hex which is why he can’t leave.

Dr. Strange shows up when Wanda is ready to kill Agnes. Agnes is Stranges’s ally and had trained with the Ancient One hundreds of years ago. They confront Wanda in an astral plane. They bring in projection of Magneto (old magneto) to talk her down and explains to her about mutants and her responsibilities to protect mutantkind. Charles Xavier is shown linking Magneto to the cameo and he has a few words as well. It’s a 5 min cameo.

The mystery “engineer” is Amadeus Cho. Sorry no Richard Reed. He is able to use Thanos tech to resurrect the real Vision. This brings Wanda back to reality.

Hayward is revealed to be Nightmare. He was released as byproduct of all the souls being reabsorbed after the Blip. He wanted to antagonize Wanda to create the hex so he could merge the world with another where the infinity stones still exist as he seeks them for his master.

Battle between all the characters and nightmare. He tempts Photon with bringing her mom back but she refuses the offer. The “fake” vision sacrifices himself.

“Ralph” is Wong who has been meditating this entire time in order to keep a psychic link with Dr. Strange.

Last scene is Nick Fury arriving to take over Sword. He hints Nightmare was a smaller agent for someone else.
