'Godzilla vs. Kong' to battle in 2020

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures announced Wednesday that they will be teaming up in a monster-heavy partnership which will lead to the 2020 epic battle of the beasts.

King Kong will monster pummel each other on one screen. It's not too early to start building that large monster shelter.
The first films in this monster partnership have already been announced:
Kong: Skull Island, which opens March 10, 2017, and
Godzilla 2 on June 8, 2018.
Legendary CEO Thomas Tull expressed his excitement about the 2020 battle in a statement. "As a lifelong fan of these characters, I've always wanted to see the ultimate showdown, and today we're pleased to be announcing that and more."

'Godzilla 2' will hit theaters in 2018 and 'Godzilla vs. Kong' will arrive in 2020.
Legendary and Warner Bros. are officially mapping out their new cinematic franchise
centered around Godzilla and King Kong.
"All-powerful monsters become towering heroes for a new generation, revealing a mythology that brings together Godzilla and Legendary’s King Kong in an ecosystem of other giant super-species, both classic and new. Monarch, the human organization that uncovered Godzilla in the 2014 film, will expand their mission across multiple releases," stated a release from the studios.
The initial trio of films will kick off with
Kong: Skull Island on March 10, 2017;
Godzilla 2 on June 8, 2018 and then Godzilla vs. Kong, arriving in theaters in 2020. While Legendary maintains its new home at Universal Pictures, the Godzilla films remain in partnership with Warner Bros., who will now also distribute Kong as a part of this franchise.
Kong: Skull begins production on Oct. 19.

Ở đây nói muốn xây dựng trận đánh hoành tráng giữa 2 con đó thời nay không phải khó, công nghệ điện ảnh ngon lành rồi, trận 1962 là nó cho người mặt đồ Kong với God vào rồi đánh nhau trên mô hình. Cho Kong vào phim làm sao thì không biết, nếu muốn cứ làm standalone rồi vác cái mác là remake bản 1962 ra là xong.

Phim 1962 của Nhật nên thông cảm, nói gì chứ bên Mỹ cũng phải đến 1968 có Space Odyssey mới có phim kỹ xảo ra trò. Chủ yếu là fan pleasing thôi, chứ nói gì thì nói ai mà thèm xem thằng khổng lồ ất ơ nào đánh God. Làm standalone remake của 1962 thì còn được, chứ tiếp tục theo câu chuyện của 2014 thì hơi điêu vì nó có lời dẫn, giải thích các kiểu riêng cho sự xuất hiện của MUTOs và Godzilla rồi, nếu cho thêm Kong vào sẽ rối.
