Boomer Advanced Guide
Hello to all Gunbound players. You have made a wise choice to use boomer as your main mobile. Although boomer have low defense and its shots are highly subjected to wind, it can deal crazy damage constantly to all mobiles unlike other mobiles for example, turtle dual will damage on average 480+ to 500+ whereas boomer constantly damage 500+ to 540+. Moreover boomer is extremely versatile. Angle range will allow boomer users to hit their target from anywhere as long as the wind permits them to.
This guide is intended for boomer users who have mastered the basics of boomer. I will try to list as many tips as I can remember. Before I start, I need to explain some terms used here.
There are 4 bars to power and going 4 bars will make it full power. So I will use number of bars to explain my shots. As for my tips, I will write it in BOLD. 1 angle Full Power shot == 3cm on 17” CRT monitor
To start the ball rolling, ever encounter situation where you need high angles but just cannot get the true angles? Eg. Meta Mine on the little hump at the end where you can only get 87 true angle but your target is just beside you where you can do a 89 angle full shot. What do you do? Sacrifice true angle for accuracy? No need. You just do an 85 Angle 1.5 bar power for wind 0 or 1. In this way, you get damage for true angle.

For Wind 6 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.55 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 7 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.50 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 8 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.45 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 16 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.15 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 17 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.10 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 18 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3.05 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 22 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 3 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 23 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 2.95 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
For Wind 24 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle 2.9 bar power == Wind 0 1 angle full power shot.
When you are against wind and for wind direction within the red zone and wind strength > 13, DO NOT use full power Hook Shot. Attempting Full Power Hook Shot and angles > 70 will result in backshot in these situations.

For Wind 22 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == ½ Wind 0 1 angle full power shot == 1.5cm.
For Wind 23 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == ½ Wind 0 1 angle full power shot == 1.5cm.
For Wind 24 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == ½ Wind 0 1 angle full power shot == 1.5cm.
For Wind 5 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.25cm.
For Wind 6 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.25cm.
For Wind 7 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.25cm.
For Wind 12 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.05cm.
For Wind 13 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.05cm.
For Wind 14 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 1 angle full bar power == 2.05cm.
You are against the WIND!
Use 40 angle from Wind 2 to Wind 18. Wind 19 and above use 35 angle or your shot will backshot.
For Wind 2 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 0.8 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 3 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 0.8 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 4 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 0.8 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 5 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 6 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 7 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 12 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 13 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 14 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.1 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 17 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.2 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 18 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.2 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 19 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 40 angle 1.2 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 22 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 35 angle 1.3 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 23 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 35 angle 1.3 bar power == 3cm
For Wind 24 and Wind Arrow Direction within the red box, 35 angle 1.3 bar power == 3cm
Backshot Tips
For Backshot, I always use angle 70. 70 angle 2.5 bar == Max Distance Backshot will travel.
For Wind 17 < and above and Wind Direction within red zone, do not use backshot to hit target less than 0.5cm from you or target less than 1.5cm and is lower by half a mobile size than you.
