Get the Flame Sword and get ready for a very annoying game. Head up. You are
the piece in a large 45 space board game in which the goal is to reach the end.
Spin the roulette to move to another space. There isn't any strategy behind
this, you just have to rely on luck.
Do not worry if you encounter some insanely hard monsters. OK, well worry a
little bit. You won't die or lose any money or anything like that, but you WILL
be reduced to 1 HP and you will have to start over at the beginning of the
board. So good luck, and be sure to fight every battle with your all.
For the Time Bomb traps, just run around, not letting it touch you. Eventually
it will explode. For the candle traps, light all the candles with R1. Poison
Gas and the rock traps are unavoidable. In some places, you'll be stuck unless
you roll a certain number or lower.
Eventually, you'll reach the end. There, you will meet a statue of Aifread.
Head into the next room and the Van Eltia will get a complete makeover. Inspect
the barrel where you first arrive for a Lens. Then go to where the deck used to
be to find Chat. This is the new submarine room. Check the thing in the back to
learn how to control the Aifish, the submarine form of the Van Eltia. Then
begin looking for the "Bridge of Expedition"!
Before heading down under, go back in the Van Eltia and talk to Chat for her to
rejoin your party. In the submarine room check out the front of the green
submarine for another Lens. Then go ahead to the ocean bottom by either
inspecting a submarine or choosing "Aifish" from the World Map menu.

While underwater, head to (35, 14). Look for a hole in the wall near the ocean
floor in that spot; that is your location. Enter it to find out that it is
really a city. Once you enter, you'll notice 10 Jini laying on the ground and
you'll pick it up. Keep in mind this area is totally optional.
In the morning, Jini is like a ghost town, but at night is where it really gets
lively. You can make it night out by eithering staying on the World Map until
the sky gets dark, or by sleeping in the Inn (for 5 Jini). Check the bookshelf
in the second floor of the Inn for a Rune Bottle, and then wait/sleep until
night time.
At night, you'll see that all the buildings are open. Think of this place as
the Fun City or Golden Saucer of ToD2; there are plenty of games to play and
things to do. First off, the currency in Jini is called "Jini". You can
exchange Gald for Jini in the WHIS place. For me, the average cost is 100 Gald
per Jini so if the cost gets any lower than that then buy like crazy.
You can play WHIS in the exchange room. It costs 5 Jini to play. If you have
the most points after four matches then Reid gets the title of Hustler and you
also get 25 Jini. Also in this room, check the arcade machine in the lower
right corner for a Lens and the machine in the upper left to find Wonder Chef
who will teach you the Hot Pot recipe.
In the one shop, check the flowers for a Light Crystal. To the right of that is
the Dance Hall. Here, you can play a dancing mini-game. It costs 3 Jini to play
as Meredy as one player, and 5 to have a friend play with you as a second
player. You can also watch the Dance Master's dance for 1 Jini.

I got a 7.13 but I didn't get anything. Anyway, check the heater thing in the
Dance Hall for another Lens. The building next to the Dance Hall is the
Bookstore, which has nothing except for books, a dork, and a frog on the floor.
Inspect the frog to find Wonder Chef! Now he gives you the Hot Curry recipe.
The building to the far right of the Dance Hall is the Auction Hall. Here, you
can buy extremely rare (and extremely expensive) items. Remember, an easy way
to convert Jini to Gald is by just adding two zeros at the end of the Jini, so
you can see if the item is worth it or not.
Most of the items in the Auction Hall aren't worth nearly millions of the Gald
required. Hold Ctrl+F and type in "Jini Auction List" to find a list of items.
For the weapons and other equipment, you usually can find better stuff for free
later. An exception is the Crystal Dagger, the best Dagger in the game.
If one of the items catch your eye, well, then it's off fighting for Gald and
converting it to Jini. This process takes several hours, if you're fighting
right around Jini. Make SURE you equip a Sephira to one of your party members;
it doubles the Gald you get. If you don't have one then convert a Reverse Doll
to one.
Don't bother trying to sell stuff, I sold a Reverse Doll for about 25 Jini (how
does that guy get to set his price to 4500?!). Inferia-only stuff can be sold
for a lot higher, I think I sold a Kirima for about 60+ once. Before leaving,
set at least SOMETHING for auction, since it's going to be a while before you
get back.
In the Auction Hall, inspect the table in the upper right corner (across from
the guy) for a Lens. Inspect the picture in the upper left corner, to find...
the final Wonder Chef. As a final parting gift, he gives you the Chili Potato
recipe. Well, he's come a long way with us, but now it's time for him to go for
good. See you, Wonder Chef! Have a nice day!
Once you're done in Jini (which can take quite a while, if you're buying the
Auction stuff, or crying for Wonder Chef), then go leave back in the Aifish.
