The goalkeepers
1st place: Manuel Neuer (Schalke)
Neuer missed the first six games due to injury. He has conceded just five goals since. The Under-21 international has parried 76% of all shots on target, the second-best record in the Bundesliga.
2nd place: Gerhard Tremmel (Cottbus)
Tremmel keeps goal for bottom club Cottbus, and it's no surprise he has had a lot to do. No keeper has parried more shots than Tremmel (58), and he kept out 74% of all shots on target (third place). He also held on to 36 shots, more than any other Bundesliga keeper.
3rd place: Jaroslav Drobny (Berlin)
He is one of the reasons for Hertha's successful season. Drobny has parried 80% of all shots on target, more than any other Bundesliga keeper. He also kept out 73% of all shots from inside the box, which is also unsurpassed.
4th place: Jens Lehmann (Stuttgart)
The former German international featured in all twelve games and held on to 21 shots (second place in that regard). He gathered 27 crosses (second place, too) and brought 67% of his long kicks to a team-mate (third place).
5th place: Robert Enke (Hannover)
Enke is currently sidelined after picking up an injury on international duty, but his performances were brilliant until then. He kept out 67.7% of all shots from inside the box (second place) and was also second-best in finding team-mates with long kicks.
6th place: Rene Adler (Leverkusen)
The German international missed the first three games but has been outstanding since. No keeper has kept more clean sheets than Adler (5), and the Leverkusen goalie hasn't dropped a single cross so far.
7th place: Daniel Fernandes (Bochum)
Fernandes has gathered more crosses than anyone else (35). The Portuguese has also saved more shots from outside the box (21) than any other goalie and played all 1080 minutes of Bundesliga action so far.
8th place: Diego Benaglio (Wolfsburg)
Diego Benaglio hasn't hit top form just yet, but three clean sheets are third place in that regard. The Swiss international hasn't dropped a single cross, and his 46 throws or short kicks have all reached a team-mate.
9th place: Frank Rost (Hamburg)
The HSV keeper has brought 76% of his long-kicks to a team-mate, a record unsurpassed in the Bundesliga. He is in third place when it comes to parrying shots from distance (20).
10th place: Dennis Eilhoff (Bielefeld)
Eilhoff has played in all twelve matches and is in second place when it comes to parrying shots (48). He kept out 31 shots from a short distance, more than any other keeper. He hasn't missed a single minute of action so far.
