- Vẫn trên nền FF8 Steam 2013 , chưa có mod remaster. Remaster được mỗi model đẹp, hình ảnh khác không bằng mod full.
- Giải nén, chạy FF8_Launcher.exe để chơi.
- File save lưu trong thư mục \Documents\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY VIII Steam nếu muốn edit.
- Đang ở bản tiếng Việt, có thể chuyển qua tiếng Anh bằng cách đổi tên thư mục lang-en hiện tại
thành "lang-en xyz" rồi đổi tên "lang-en tieng anh" thành lang-en. Bản tiếng anh có font đẹp.
- Không được bật filter trong bảng cài đặt, làm xấu texture.
- Bonus Mod Selphie Limit. Limit của Selphie được giới hạn lại trong 8 chiêu mạnh:
Full-cure, Wall, Rapture, Triple, Meteor, Ultima, Apocalypse, The End
