Hunter x Hunter Chapter 380: "Alarm"
Mizai is at a meeting discussing about the crimes that are happening right now. He says that since only 3 days have passed, it is unlikely that the stress is causing the crimes.
As Mizai implicates that one of the princes could be the culprit, the policeman replies “You!! I can’t ignore what you just said. Are you trying to say that one of the princes is the culprit?! That’s silly!”
Mizai thinks that if one of the princes is truly the culprit, then that wouldn’t be a big issue.
Mizai: “Until there is the last remaining prince, whatever actions they take will be exempt from any punishment…!!”
But Mizai’s wondering is why the culprit thought it was necessary to kill so many random people. He thinks the answer lies in the magical element of the vessel ceremony.
Mizai’s main concern is that the crimes will continue and if people on the ship find out about it, then a riot will occur and the ship will sink as a result.
After the meeting Mizai says “Damn it. It feels like I sold my soul to the devil.” But Botobai says that he did his best considering they can’t talk about Nen.
[Cha-R Family’s base]
In exchange of getting access to the information and the tools the Cha-R family have, Nobunaga promises to bring the culprit’s head.
One of the members of the Cha-R is excited to see members of the Phantom Troupe; so much that he wants to obtain their signature.
[Day 4]
They make an announcement that a criminal is running around and no one is allowed to leave the safe area without permission, and they are also asked to give all information they have to the army.
[Third Floor]
Soldiers from the Royal army are pointing guns at Kaurto and Illumi since they left the safe area without permission, but Karuto mockingly says that they were asleep and didn’t hear it.
Botobai says that they are hunters too and stops them.
Mizai: “Why are…the spiders on the ship…?”
Illumi: “Yeah. Everyone is here.”
Karuto: “Big Brother!”
Illumi: “Ahh. I’m quite honest, so I always answer any questions I get asked. I'm sorry, but I can’t say much more than this. I also have a confidentiality agreement for my job.”
Mizai knew that Karuto joined the spiders, but didn’t know that Illumi joined too. He wonders what Illumi is planning.
He comes up wit the thought that the spiders plan to take revenge on Kurapika. And since Illumi became a Hunter at the same time as Kurapika, he may have leaked information about Kurapika to the other spiders.
Police: “Mizai! I found a suspicious person without an ID. But the problem is…”
Mizai: “What happened? What…?! Botobai! Ginta! I will leave the rest to you!! I will return to the HQ for now.“
And then Mizai finds Fugetsu.
