, mà hình như tên nó chẳng phải The Ring, cũng chẳng phải Ringu, tìm hoài chẳng thấy, thấy mấy cái như thía này :What characterizes a J-Horror movie? First of all, there are no slashers in it out to cut up scantily clad girls, with only the virgin among them left alive. The mood and atmosphere are more important than the fake blood in a J-Horror movie, a water stain can invoke more terror than a cut from a knife, the villains are victims, and Dead Wet Girls RULE.
In J-Horror flicks, you find a lot of families where something has gone horribly wrong, which can actually happen in real life, as opposed to shambling hordes of zombies. J-Horror stories are about people. Sometimes they're dead people, but they're still people. They hurt and kill because they themselves were hurt and killed, and they're still hurting.
Now for my list of must-sees:
1. Ringu. Sadako is the original Dead Wet Girl. Samara and the others follow in her squelchy, awkward footprints. Yes, it is in Japanese, so you'll have to read subtitles, but if you're visiting my profile and you like my story Simple Gifts, you'll have no trouble with that. Ringu is the creepiest of all the Ring based movies, largely because we see so little of Sadako. She's a head of dark hair, a hand at the rim of a well, a jerky, awkward, inexorable figure coming for you. She never speaks. She is silent, and only at the climax of the film do we catch a glimpse of the face under that hair--and what a glimpse it is!
2. The Ring. Samara's version of the cursed videotape is a work of art, a visual scream of horror, pain and anger, a lashing out. We don't know at the onset that the one responsible is a little girl, or why she's condemning people to die seven days after they view it, and once we find out the circumstances, we feel as much sympathy for her as we do horror. I identify with Samara because of my own childhood. The only reason my family didn't make me live in a barn loft is because we didn't have a barn, and instead of shoving me down a well, my mother sent me to live with my grandmother. But enough about me.
3. Ju-On. I haven't seen the version with Sarah Michelle Geller yet, but I probably will one of these days. In the Grudge movies, the Dead Wet Girl is Kayako, and she's wet with her own blood. Nor is she alone; her young son Toshio accompanies her, and with him is their black cat. Murdered by Kayako's husband in a fit of jealous rage, they haunt not only the house where they died, nor only the people who enter it, but also people who only come into contact with them. Although this movie is filled with terrifying moments, it suffers from the lack of a cohesive story line. No sooner do we get to know a character than they die, and the sequence of events doesn't run A-B-C-D, but more like B-A-C-F-D, so it's disjointed. But still scary as hell.
4. Dark Water. Again, I haven't seen the American version. Here the Dead Wet Girl is Mitsuko, and she's about six years old. Possibly the most like Samara, Mitsuko's mother abandoned her when she left her husband. Shortly after, Mitsuko disappeared, and although he waited in their apartment for months after she did, eventually her father moved away. Yoshimi, a mother involved in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, moves into the same building where Mitsuko once lived, bringing her daughter Ikuko with her. Mitsuko immediately makes contact with them in an extremely unusual way. The climax of this story is fully as terrifying as that of Ringu or The Ring, and as heart-wrenching.
5. A Tale of Two Sisters. It's hard to write about this film from South Korea without getting into spoiler territory. Sisters Su-Mi and Su-Yeon were in a medical institution of some sort. Now released, their father brings them home to a stepmother whose cheerful greeting is so transparently fake that viewers laugh and wince at the same time. Soon weird things are happening around the house--odd sounds, duplicated clothing filling a closet, a guest having a seizure at dinner, and a Dead Wet Girl under the kitchen sink. The weirdness gives the girls nightmares, their father is so remote it's as if he's living on another planet, and their stepmother is abusing Su-Mi, beating her, bruising her, and locking her inside a wardrobe. When Su-Yeon tells their father about it...Sorry, can't write any more. This movie takes a second viewing to understand even after one reads the spoilers on-line.
6. Ringu 0 Before Sadako became a Dead Wet Girl, she was a lovely, gentle, shy girl who wanted to be an actress--or was she? Yukie Nakama gives a marvelous, sensitive and sympathetic performance as the pre-dead Sadako in this prequel to Ringu. Strange occurrences and mysterious deaths follow Sadako Yamamura as she prepares for her first starring role in a play. The other members of her acting troupe, terrified to violence, decide that killing her is the only way to prevent more supernatural events. Of course, that is only the beginning of their problems. Although we know just where this story is leading, namely to the well, the journey is worth it.
7. Acacia. As a change of pace, how about a Dead Wet Boy? In this South Korean film, Jin-Seong is a very strange little boy who carries around a dead bug and insists the dead acacia tree in his adoptive parents' back yard is the reincarnation of his late mother. Just when it seems as though he's becoming part of the family, his adoptive mother becomes pregnant with a child of her own. Soon after the birth of her child, a boy, Jin disappears on a very rainy night--and the dead acacia starts to put forth leaves and bloom once more. Another difference between this and other J-Horror movies is that people are haunted not by anything supernatural, but by what they have done--and it's just as suspenseful and scary.
8. My Left Eye Sees Ghosts. This movie from China features a Dead Wet Guy, and surprise surprise, it's a romantic comedy! May meets, marries, and loses the guy of her dreams in (eeek!) seven days. Now a wealthy widow, she's at a loss as to what to do with her life. After a car accident while she was driving drunk, May discovers her left eye can now see dead people, especially the ghost of Ken, a former class mate of hers who drowned some years before. Taking on the role of her guardian angel, albeit a raucous, hilarious angel, he forces her to clean up her life and become a better person. Using J-Horror iconography for humorous effect, the other ghosts May encounters include a sad, fat little ghost-woman who wants to be pretty and desirable, like May, for just a little while. So she possesses May and goes out flirting...Of all the ghosts and phantoms she sees, though, the only one she wants to see, her late husband, is not among them. Of course we find out why by the end.
9. Rasen/Ringu 2/ The Ring 2. I have thrown all the Ringu/Ring sequels in together for a good reason. None of them is truly satisfactory, but all of them are interesting.
Rasen, which means 'spiral', takes Sadako and her story out of the supernatural genre and moves her into science fiction. The source of the 'curse' is not a ghost as we understand it. Instead it's a virus, by which not only Sadako but Ryuji will be reborn. While a good science fiction story, it's nothing like Ringu. The effect is something like trying to persuade the audience that The Matrix is a good sequel for Dracula. I am not the only person to think so; so many people did that the studio went back, ignored everything that happened in Rasen, and made Ringu 2.
The problem with Ringu 2 is that it's too much like Ringu. The best parts of it--a witness who's afraid to look at a television, an electrocution, the reporter's son being taken over by Sadako, and the way in which she scales the walls of the well at the climax, have all been cannibalized and used in either The Ring or The Ring 2.
A number of things are wrong with The Ring 2. First of all, the poster was scarier than the entire movie. J-Horror is at its best when it's telling quiet, intimate stories, not when it's using CGI to show us that there's six inches of water floating on the ceiling. CGI is not interesting. At its best, it can enhance J-Horror, but it cannot replace the emotional and psychological intensity one finds at the climax of the original Ring.
The good things in Ring 2 are barely developed. David Dorfman's performance as Samara/Aiden does not get the attention it should. Aiden is a weird kid himself--clearly very intelligent, yet detached, he relates to Rachel, his mother more as an equal or even as her care-giver, calling her by her first name instead of 'Mom', laying out her funeral clothes, making his own lunch. When Samara takes him over, he beams with pleasure just at getting to sit on the sofa and watch TV with Rachel, delighted at finally having a good mother, not an abusive one.
So what is the solution? Well, I'm trying to work it out in Simple Gifts. Since there is no hope that Hollywood will ever ask me to write the script of The Ring 3, I'll never get to try it on a wider audience than the one reading me right now. That way, if I fail, at least several million dollars won't be wasted.
10.Shutter This film from Thailand is a minor classic of the J-Horror genre. Professional photographer ( the shutter is a camera shutter) Tun and his girlfriend Jane are driving home from a wedding one night, both of them intoxicated, when Jane hits a female pedestrian. When Jane wants to do the right thing and stop to try and help the poor girl, Tun insists they flee the scene.
Soon after, strange images start showing up in Tun's photographs--streaks of light, and a shadowy, half-seen girl's face-the face of the accident victim. Or was she? On investigation, there is no evidence that Jane hit anything but a billboard that night. Yet the visitations escalate, expanding to include not only Tun and Jane, but Tun's college buddies and the college itself.
Who is this Dead Wet Girl and why is she haunting Tun and those close to him? Gradually the facts come out. Her name is Natre, and she went to college with Tun. A quiet, shy strange girl with no friends, she was the class outcast. According to Tun, he felt sorry for her, and asked her out. Soon she became his lover. More importantly, he was her first lover, first love, and only friend. The casting choice for Natre is inspired--the actress, Achita Sikamana, has a face which can be, in turns, beautiful, pathetic, ethereal, plain, menacing, and creepy.
Tun (played by Ananda Everingham, an Orlando Bloom lookalike) admits he behaved badly toward her, and that when he dumped her, his friends stepped in to get her to leave him alone. After that, she disappeared, only now to return as a ghost. She is hounding Tun's friends to suicide, one after the other, growing ever closer to her former love and his new love.
Jane and Tun work together to discover what happened to Natre and appease her spirit. There are lots of good scares, especially a night scene in the rain, with Natre pursuing Tun headfirst down a fire escape, great visual effects, such as Jane using a series of photographs as a flip-book to see what Natre is searching for, and the climax--well, let me just say that it isn't hatred which draws Natre back to Tun as much as it is love. She wants to be with him--and will be with him--forever.

Kết thúc mở như thế tức anh ách, nhưng lí do làm sao thì tác giả tự hiểu. Nhân vật chính immune tất cả(Siêu nhân điện quang
) ngồi ngắm mây trời. 
Còn Gyo thì yếu tố kinh dị so ra vẫn kém ra nhiều game, anime/manga và tiểu thuyết kinh dị, Berserk, Gantz, Silent Hill chẳng hạn. Được cái nội dung Gyo hấp dẫn li kì :whew: hết vol1 nhân vật chính chìm nghỉm luôn ạVol 2 dóc thấy ớn, người bị thối rữa cả tháng trời còn chảy nước mắt, cử động tiếp được. Con Tomie cũng như Dead Wet Girl nhưng có nhiều nhân cách, có cái Dead Wet có cái người sống, và tất cả mọi bộ phận cơ thể của nó (kể cả máu) đều có thể dần lại hình thành một đứa Tomie nữa
phải nói vẽ ẹ, hiệu ứng không tốt nhưng cốt truyện hay dựa vào hồn ma. Con Tomie này thực ra đã chết(có thể nhận rõ bằng hình chụp), có khả năng hấp dẫn người khác thành nô lệ cho nó, và nó tìm mọi cách để tìm diệt các phiên bản Tomie khác. Tuy nhiên điều mâu thuẫn của mọi nô lệ có khả năng đề kháng cao là muốn xẻ nó ra thành nhiều mảnh khác nhau, giúp cho nó càng ngày càng nhân lên. Chỉ có thế, nhưng nếu tụi nó toàn bộ đều bắt tay với nhau thì cả thế giới tận diệt. Chắc tác giả lấy cái này làm gốc cho Gyo
