so sánh với bản test screening năm ngoái thì bị cắt bỏ khá nhiều
cắt mất cảnh nude của ông bạn Mulan mới đau
cắt mất cảnh nude của ông bạn Mulan mới đau

The D+ version has a shorter runtime, obvs.
Beginning has extra scene of the father watching Mulan train in the sunset.
The movie now has narration
While Mulan and her mom/sister walk to the matchmaker she makes a joke about 50 pounds of makeup on her face.
Mulan’s transformation scene is shortened (including cutting a scene where we see the stone Phoenix Mulan broke in the beginning turn into a real Phoenix)
Shortened her traveling scenes after she leaves (one of the most boring parts of the film before IMO) instead they compiled it with cuts between her father monologuing and her journey.
Cut scene of Mulan finding the witch entangled in a tree unable to get out and she helps her only for the witch to vaguely hint that she’s aware that Mulan is disguised (she sees she’s a woman).
She doesn’t kill Mulan in return for Mulan releasing her.
Cut scenes of Mulan in a restaurant/bar of some kind after her journey. She asks for food and drink to which she is laughed at by everyone since she has no money. Here she meets two con artists (that were comical characters in the film)
They buy her food and get her trust, get her drunk and when she passes out they steal her horse. When she wakes up she realizes what happens and is aided by the phoenix to her destination camp.
Small scene of her catching a guys girly scroll and returning it to him was added.
A comedic scene was cut. Like the animated movie, the main guy gets too close while talking to her in the bath and the Phoenix scares him away, he runs away from the lake bare assed. (Yes they showed him running away nude)
Scene was cut where the army goes to a market and Mulan finds the con artists that stole her horse. He is retrieved and the con artists arrested. Although in a later scene they’re released to fight along side them for a bit.
Mountain battle between the witch and Mulan was longer. When the witch throws the dagger that impales Mulan to the wall, Mulan falls and breaks into the ice lake, witch leaves her for dead and Phoenix saves her. She then removes her armor and marches to battle on the horse.
I don’t remember the witch dying (just gets wounded)
The emperor fights along side Mulan in the final battle.
Romance was played down.
A kiss scene was deleted (funny line was removed when Mulan tells the guy she’s “never kissed a man before” and he replies “neither have I” before leaning in to kiss her.)
The Phoenix returns to its post and converts back to stone at the end of the film.
There were a couple more things that I don't want to mention because I saw the film over a year ago and details had started to fade, But this is the gist of it.
