Think about this scene.
People have been thinking Thor is dead.
Banner saw him losing against thanos and his army.
The old avengers don't see him since years.
The new avengers didn't even see him till now, just heard of him.
Then he appears in the darkest moment of the battle, where everthing seems going to shit.
Just a trow of his axe saves most the avengers.
Banner is happy since he understands immediately the situation.
Cap and Natasha see this completely different man from the one they remember, a broken man without nothing to lose that only seeks vengeance.
It's that moment where everyone else understands what true power is, they get introduced to a completely new league of power levels.
Thanos's right hands understand that, and we can see the fear in their eyes.
They are now against a god, that wants nothing but their death.
A god does not ask for stuff, it demands it immediately.
"Bring me thanos"the ammount of power that phrase has is immeasurable.
So he leaps in the air forcing the sky to turn black and to bring a hell of lighting from above, to then hit the ground and kill every living monster in that zone with an electric shock.
Thor, god of thunder and King of Asgard.
Let's face it, if Thor didn't fall in depression and laziness the fight in endgame would have ended in mere seconds.
All I want to see now is him fighting Adam in guardian of the Galaxy 3, don't know why people are not asking for that.
