This is the Battle Menu *UPDATED* - From help of Kentalot and Shardukars and Jolt
When in battle - these are the skills you can use to attack officers
[ When useing a bow you must have 1 space between you and opponent ]
---------------
`~1st~` - Move - Move's Officer to Designated Area
`~2nd~` - Attack - Normal attack where both units take damage
`~3rd~` - Join Attack - If 2 units are next to an enemy unit, both attack for more damage, unit who executed the command is the only one to take damage
`~4th~` - Special Attacks - [ All skills can potentially hurt your own units, especially if its an AOE skill ]
Spear
- Thrust at the enemy pushing them back a space
- This is actually not pushing back a space, but does a chance to confuse
- Hard thrust at the enemy pushing them back 2 spaces Actually, it does push them 2 spaces back
Pike
- better description would be pulling the enemy into your original spot
- Whirlwind attack that damages in the 2 spaces around the space where you attack, it does have an axe attack formation) It's 3 spaces, your target, and the two spaces flanking your target that is also adjacent to you. (basically a semicircle, while the Stronger version below does a full circle).
- Strong Whirlwind attack that damages in the 6 spaces around your unit
Crossbow
- Fire attack [ very effective move ]
- Stonger than normal attack (Longer Range) Actually, this hits the unit directly in front of you and your target unit. Kinda of like, goes through the one in front of you and hits your target, ending up hurting both units.
- AOE bow attack in front of the Unit towards the enemy unit selected
(Does AOE around the area clicked)
Cavalry
- Strong Thrust Forward pushing them back a space
- Strong Thrust Through then enemy, coming out on the opposite side you attacked Think Pierce in dynasty tactics
- Very Strong thrust pushing the enemy back 2 spaces
(I believe this is a confuse attack...) Actually it's 2 spaces back again.
Others
Ship's = Fire Attacks
Towers = Fire Attacks
Rams = [Unknown havent used]
`~5th~` - Dueling [ Havent Succesfully triggered one yet ]
`~6th~` - Plots
- 1st, Fire Attack
- 2nd, Douse Fire
- 3rd, Falsify Retreat
- 4th, Confuse
- 5th, Pacify
- 6th, Ambush (usable as an active attack as long as you are in a forest even if the enemy is not in melee range, I think. In other words, you need not hide and then wait for the enemy to come like in 10. It can fail though.)
- 7th, Trick (make two enemies attack each other)
`~7th~` - Build Things on the World Map
First row: Supply depot (uses less food per turn if your unit is near it (i think)), Archer tower (every turn, shoots people 2 spaces away), Wall (used to slow enemies or force them into chokepoints), Taiko Drums (Attack str increased for allied units in a 2-square radius), Battle Music (Morale replenishes (I think 10/turn) for allied units in a 2-square radius).
Second row: Zhuge Liang's Stone Formation (Enemies units that approach this has a chance of confusion each turn), Catapult tower (every turn, shoots people 2-3 spaces away), Fire Trap 1 (I think this one does a 2-radius fire from where you build it), Fire Trap 2 (I think this one does a four-square forward line of fire from where you attack it), Fire Boat (I never used it, but probably fire trap on water). Also a lot of these are upgradable via the kingdom skill upgrades using skill points, but I didn't list their upgraded stats.

This button is also available for Transport Convoys. You need to be in melee range of the unit you are supplying the materials (For example transporting and supplying food to an army running short of food in battle, or supplying gold to a unit to build a needed Supply Depot, or giving gold to build more walls) Afterwards, you have a bottom buttons where you determine how much material the transport is taking that will be transfered into. This comes handy if you want launch an early attack, preparing to use supplying convoys to supply your armies as battle goes on, instead waiting for every needed material to be ready.
`~8th~` - Repair - Repairs buildings, effectiveness depends on builder efficiency stat of unit.

After you capture an officer in battle, a window will appear with info on the captured officer. Below that, there are four green buttons, here's what they mean: 1st- Recruit; 2nd- Imprision; 3rd- Release; 4th- Execute.
Imprisioning a captured officer means, that the captured officer will remain on the army which captured him as long as that army is on the field. Therefore, you must move an army with PoWs (or captured officers) to a city so the PoW will stay there.
