Tại Route 212 có một nới gọi là Mansion, vào ngôi nhà lớn, đi qua phía bên phải, vào phóng thứ nhất, trong đó sẽ có ba người, một ông lão trọc, một cảnh sát và một người đàn ông, nói chuyện với người đàn ông một hồi lâu (Hãy trả lời Yes) ông ta sẽ cho người đi ra vườn kiểm tra Pokemon, chạy theo ra sau vườn và túm Pokemon

Vị trí và cách lấy các HMs và Key Items (D/P)
Mấy cái này thì thật ra trong Sinnoh Map 1.1 có rồi nhưng chưa đầy đủ, Post lên lun
HM
HM01 - Cut : Eterna City, gần Galactic Warehouse.
HM02 - Fly : Found in Galactic Warehouse.
HM03 - Surf : Celestic town. Đánh thằng Grunt Guarding ở cái hang rồi đi vào cái hang sẽ có bà lão đi vào và đưa cho mình.
HM04 - Strength : Lost Tower ở Route 209. Lên trên đỉnh và nói chuyện với người phụ nữ.
HM05 - DeFog : Great Marsh (Safari). Vô Safari Game, nói chuyện với thằng bé đầu tiên bên phải.
HM06 - Rock Smash : Ông Hiker ở Oreburgh Gate.
HM07 - Waterfall : Sunnyshore City (Sau khi oánh GYM). Đi lên phía Bắc gần bờ biển nói chuyện với Jasmine.
HM08 - Rock Climb : Phía tây Route 217 đằng sau nhà của thằng Hiker.

Cách bắt Pokemon ở D/P bằng cách cho Rom GBA vào
Ở phiên bản Pokemon Diamon/Pearl này có rất nhiều nét đặc biệt về cách bắt Pokemon như Swarm,PokeRadar, Pal Park... trong đó có một cách unlock Pokemon bằng cách cho ROM Pokemon hệ BGA vào Slot GBA hay DS Slot 2. Sau đây là danh sách nhưng Pokemon bắt theo cách như vậy.

Các phiên bản pokemon về sau này ta thấy có đặc điểm khá nổi bật về địa hình, ở các bản ruby/sapphire/emerald ta thấy nổi trội về biển, đa phần là du hành trên biển khá nhiều, diện tích biển cũng rộng và còn cả phần phía dưới biển là undersea cũng xuất hiện khắp nơi trên bản đồ
Còn ở bản Diamond/Pearl khi mới vào game ta thấy thiên về địa hình đồi núi với vô số hang động, núi rộng lớn, ngay cả GYM cũng có 1 GYM về rock và 1 GYM về steel/rock :))

nên ở phần này xuất hiện 1 phần mới là underground
Khi xuống underground bạn cần 1 key Item là Explorer Kit lấy ở Etena city
Lưu ý: khi xuống underground bạn cần phải đứng ở ngoài đường, không thể xuống đó khi đang ở trong nhà, trên cao, ...
Sau đây là bản đồ underground:

khi xuống underground man hình bao gồm 1 bản đồ như thế ở màn hình trên và touch screen dùng để điều khiển nhân vật làm việc
theo bản đò thì chấm đỏ có vòng tròn bao quanh chính là vị trí hiện tại của mình trên bản đồ, mỗi vùng khác nhau trên mặt đất sẽ dẫn ta xuông 1 góc nào đó của underground
Mục đích chủ yếu của underground chủ yếu là đáo bới

bạn sẽ tìm những đồ vật bị chôn sâu dưới tầng đất, có thể là hoá thạch pokemon, Item, đá quý,...
Đặc biệt khi chơi D/P thì số lượng hoá thạch cũng như Item ở underround là vô hạn, chỉ tuỳ vào may mắn của bạn để đào nó lên mà thôi
trừ 2 hoá thạch là skull fosil và shield fosil thì mỗi bản Diamond và Pearl có 1 loại, không có loại kia
và khi ở underground thì ta ở chế độ bật mạng wireless nên có thể cùng bạn bè có rom D/P đào bới hoặc làm việc ở underground chứ không chỉ đơn độc 1 mình
để tìm vị trí của Item bạn cần sử dụng màn hình touch screen

phía trên là ảnh của touch screen, đầu tiên bạn click vào biểu tượng hình ăn ten ở đầu góc phải màn hình ( bằng chuột với ai xài giả lập và bằng viết với ai xài NDS )
nó sẽ toả ra lượng sóng dò các vùng có Item ở khắp bản đồ, sau đó bản đồ sẽ hiện ra những chấm sáng vàng như hình dưới đây:

bạn chỉ cần đi lại nơi đó, khi tới gần hoặc đang ở chỗ sáng đó thì bạn click vào 1 nơi bất kì trên màn hình, nó sẽ toả sóng dò các Item ở khu vực gần mình, khi thấy nơi nào sáng lên điểm màu vàng trên tường, lại đó nói chuyện bạn sẽ được chuyển sang màn hình đào Item:

có 2 công cụ màu đỏ và xanh bên trái, dùng cái nào để đào thì tuỳ bạn
khi đào nên lưu ý phần thanh zíc zắc ở đầu màn hình, khi thay đó đầy hết 1 hàng bức tường sẽ đổ và không thể đào tiếp
khi bạn đã đào hết Item thì sẽ chuyển màn hình về lại ban đầu
lưu ý trên đường nên dùng công cụ đò để tìm nơi có Item đào và các chấm bạc phát sáng trên đường, đó là những bẫy ( trap ) nhằm cản đường bạn, bạn có 2 lựa chọn, 1 là tránh chỗ đó, 2 là đứng trước nó và nói chuyện, bạn sẽ sở hữu luôn trap đó, nhưng lỡ chân đạp vào thì sẽ phiền phức lắm :))

List những Item có thể tìm ở underground:
Sphere: Reds, Blues, Greens, Prisms & Pales
Fosil: ; Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, Old Amber, Claw Fossil, Root Fossil, Armor Fosil, Skull Fosil
Revives, Hard Stones
Evolution stones ( đá dùng cho pokemon tiến hoá )
Shard ( dùng để đổi thành đá tiến hoá )
Plate ( dùng cho Arceus hold để đổi hệ )
để bỏ Item vào bag ở trên mặt đất bạn nhấn X ( C: khi chơi bằng giả lập ), vào nơi chứa Item mình cần bỏ vào bag, chọn Item, chọn bỏ vào bag
còn phần bury dùng để chôn Item lại xuống mặt đất, đối với những viên đá quý ( sphere ) khi bạn chôn, hãy nhớ kĩ vị trí của nó, lần sau xuống kích thước viên sphere sẽ tăng lên, khi cần dò bạn cũng click lên màn hình và tìm những điểm phát ánh sáng vàng trên mặt đất
Những viên sphere không thể bỏ vào bag, mà dùng với mục đích đổi hàng với những hike bên dưới underground, họ chỉ đổi với đá quý, không nhận tiền :))

Một phần khác của underground là secrest base ( đại khái là chỗ ở bí mật của bạn ở underground )
bạn vào đó để trang trí bằng những item được cho hoặc mua trên đường, những item chuyên dùng để trang trí secrest base
để vào secrest base bạn cần 1 item là: digger drill
sau đây là ảnh secrest base

với secrest base ta có 1 mini game là Flag Retrieval
tró này chỉ có thể chơi khi có 1 người khác chơi cùng, bạn sẽ vào secrest base của những người bạn và lại ngay chỗ PC để ăn cắp những flag, trong secrest base có thể có những tảng đó lớn hoặc trap để cản đường bạn
khi có flag bạn có thể nâng cấp secrest base của chính mình lên như bỏ bớt những tảng đá trong secrest base, tăng số lượng đồ trang trí trong đó lên

Khi thực hiện xong nhiệm vụ bạn sẽ nhận được những phần thường nhất định

4/ Làm 1 Secret Base
Phần thưởng: Plain Table, Wooden Chair, Small Bookshelf, Buneary Doll
5/ Trang trí Secret Base
Phần thưởng: Búp bê hình pokemon đầu tiên của bạn (Turtwig, Chimchar hoặc Piplup)
6/ Lấy được 1 Flag
Phần thưởng: Bronze Flag, Base Nâng cấp (tăng lên tới 12 vật trang trí), Pretty Gem
7/ Lấy được 3 Flags:
Phần thưởng: Silver Flag, Base nâng cấp (tăng lên tới 15 vật trang trí), Shiny Gem
8/ Lấy được 10 Flags

Effort Values(EVs)
EVs là những điểm tích lũy nhằm nâng cao sức mạnh của Pokemon. Cứ 4EVs sẽ được đổi thành 1 Point trong chỉ số stats. Mỗi Pokemon có tối đa là 510 EVs và mỗi chỉ số có tối đa là 255 EVs.
Ví dụ bạn đánh 4 lần Pokemon Ekans bạn sẽ nhận được 4 EVs(Attack) đồng nghĩa với việc lên level bạn sẽ được cộng thêm 1 Attack vào Stats không tính phần tăng lên của Level ấy. Nói cách khác nếu bạn đánh 200 4 lần Pokemon Ekans thì khi lên level bạn sẽ được cộng 50 Attack vào Stats không tính phần tăng lên của Level ấy(Choáng chưa :))

Vậy làm thế nào để có thể có được điểm EVs ? Thật ra có nhiều cách, nhưng phân ra thì có hai cách chính là đánh Pokemon hoang dã và sử dụng Item.
A. Sử dụng Item: Là các item nâng cao chỉ số như Protein, Calcium... Mỗi item sẽ cộng 10 EVs

B. Đánh Pokemon hoang dã: Mỗi loài Pokemon khác nhau sẽ cho ta các điểm EVs khác nhau, nhưng đa số người ta thường luyện với các Pokemon sau:
HP: Bidoof (EVs:1 - Route 201, Valley Windworks), Shellos (EVs:1 - Valley Windworks), Gastrodon (EVs:2 - Route 222)
Attack: Shinx (EVs:1 - Route 202), Kricketune (EVs:2 - Route 212), Bibarel (EVs:2 - Route 212, Route 208)
Defense: Graveler (EVs:2 - Iron Island Mines), Geodude (EVs:1 - Oreburgh Gate, Left of Oreburgh City...), Onix (EVs:1 - Oreburgh Mine, Iron Island Mines...)
Special Attack: Budew(EVs:1 - Route 204), Ghastly (EVs:1 - Old Chateau, Lost Tower), Haunter (EVs:2 - Old Chateau), Gloom (EVs:2 - Route 229)
Special Defense: Tentacruel (EVs:2 - Route 223), Mantyke (EVs:1 - Route 223)

Ngoài ra để có thể nhận được nhiều EVs points hơn bạn có thể cho Pokemon Hold item Macho Brace(x2) hoặc nếu Pokemon của bạn có Pokerus(x2). Bạn coe thể có Item Macho Brace bằng cách bắt 3 con Burmy rồi lần lượt cho đấu ở 3 môi trường khác nhau là : Building(Trong nhà), Grass(Bãi cỏ) và Cave(Hang động). Bằng cách đó chúng ta sẽ có cả 3 Form của nó. Sau đó đem 3 con đó về Pastoria City đưa cho cái thằng trong ngôi nhà phía trên PokeMart. Còn Pokerus thì chịu, do may mắn mà có hay không thôi, nếu Pokemon của bạn có thì ấn vào Summary, nếu phía bên hình Pokemon có cái ô vuông nhỏ màu tím là có. Cái hay ở chỗ là nếu Pokemon của bạn có Pokerus và cho Hold Macho Brace thì EVs sẽ x4 (He he).
