What you will need:

- JP release of the game (BLJS10093)
- US release of the game (BLUS30903)
- 9GB of free space
- quickbms (aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms, first link at the top)
- unpack script (attached)
- repack tools (attached)
- fixed skit files (www.mediafire.com/?t9g6z4np7z0t8gt)
- a printer or some mobile device for passwords

Preparations:

- Make a new folder somewhere, for example C:/talesfix
- Extract the tools and the fixed skits folder to here. You can place quickbms and the script anywhere.
- Copy rootR.cpk from the japanese game (BLJS10093/PS3_GAME/USDIR) to here and rename it to rootR_JP.cpk
- Copy map1R.cpk from the american release (BLUS30903/PS3_GAME/USDIR) to here and rename it to map1R_US.cpk
- Make these new folders in talesfix: jp_files, us_files, map1r_files
- Your folder should now look like as on the first picture

Unpacking:

- open quickbms
- select the script file (cpk_ndc.bms)
- select the japanese rootR.cpk
- select the jp_files folder

- open quickbms
- select the script file
- select the american rootR.cpk
- select the us_files folder

- open quickbms
- select the script file
- select the american map1R.cpk
- select the map1r_files folder

Repacking:

- Start FIX_ROOTR.BAT
- It will ask you for your preferred voices (jap/eng)
- It will make a new file called rootR_fixed.cpk

- Start FIX_MAP1R.BAT
- It will make a new file called map1R_fixed.cpk

Transfer:

- Copy the japanese game to your PS3
- Rename rootR_fixed.cpk to rootR.cpk, map1R_fixed.cpk to map1R.cpk and copy over the originals
- If you don't want japanese movies copy the american movie files (bink folder)
- Copy the latest translated EBOOT over the original
- Enjoy

Other stuff:

In the game there are password protected chests, but the input dialog is in japanese. You can find the chest passwords on the internet, but if you don't want to "cheat", you can use the passwords.png that is included. It is a list of random words, and I mixed the real password in them.

For example, if you think the password for a chest is "Password", you should type in the word next to "P" on the list. Pay attention to the "smile" characters (ツ), they look very similar.

While this repack makes the story and skits english, most of the menu text and tutorials are in the EBOOT file, so check back for updated translations!

à thì ra là vậy nhưng mình nghĩ thì nên tải cái lồng tiếng nhật chép vào bản US thế thì text 100% tiếng anh với lại mở thùng đồ tránh rắc rối khi nhập code

Phần lồng tiếng Nhật ấy nằm ở folder nào trong game vậy cậu?
Mình vừa chép bản tiếng Anh xong, vẫn còn lưu bản tiếng Nhật trong PC, nếu chép phần lồng tiếng Nhật vào bản USA được thì hay quá :)
