-The people in Pulse call Gran Pulse that because it is a gesture to honour and thanks the gods. The reverse is true for the people in Cocoon. The actual Kanji used for Pulse by the Cocoonians mean "the world below"( I should this is slightly derogatory if you say it with a scoff lol) but they pronounce it as Parusu i.e. Pulse.
-The mission text contains something about waking up from being a Crystal. The l'cie that turned into a monument wanted to complete the Focus so that he can wake up from his crystal form and rebuilt his/her ruined home. Does this suggests that l'cie can wake up years after becoming a crystal?
Monuments however definitely do not return to human form as their souls are considered lost.
-Cie corpses turn into monuments only after long period of years (measurements done in periods of 50-100 years). It is different for every Cie corpse. It also seems like Monuments are something exclusive to Pulse and the question of whether Cocoon l'cie even turn into Cie corpse is asked.
-The monument might look like a woman with long hair but this does not mean that the l'cie was once female. Due to some unknown and mysterious phenomenon, monuments usually become the way they look. This fixed appearance has something to do with a currently unknown premise.
-L'cies are common in Pulse and happens all the time. This might be why the l'cie on Pulse (and thus the monuments) understand their visions better because it's not something that alien to them.
-Both Pulse and Cocoon have different systems of writing, with Pulse having a more primitive one. Could the writing on the pulse monsters be the job of Pulse Fal'cies?(asked by the magazine, not me).
-The scan further confirms the existance of different sorts of Cie corpses. They change due to time. The ones at the Yaasha mountains are different from those in the Pulse Fal'cie Ruins. There are flying Cie corpses that can be seen in the screenshots.
-Those bright blub plant like things in the screen shots are gigantic flowers. It is as if they're trying to emulate Cocoon.
-The Fal'cie ruins in Bowdam is the one that floats above Snow. It looks like the Fal'cie itself. So the floating thing isn't a Fal'cie but the ruins.
-As said in the novel, Cocoon Fal'cies bring Pulse ruins to Cocoon ruins to repair Cocoon regularly. Some ruins are not used and are left there for ages. The people usually find them harmless and there's usually a barrier that helps the ruins to blend in with the surroundings. The situation changed when they realised that a Pulse Fal'cie resides in the ruins. The ruins usually have no entrance and they do not know why one was suddenly created.
-It seems like players would have to go through some puzzle/trial of sorts to clear their path before they move forward in the Pulse Fal'cie ruins.
-There's no preferred material for weapon types. A material that gives 100xp to Lightning's weapons will still give 100xp to Hope's. This is the same for all materials (be it abilities or xp or xp bonus). So players will not have to ponder over which material to add to which weapon.
-Hope's weapon moves according to his hand actions. The Magazine speculates that the shape will not hinder it's capablities so even if it is upgraded into a large knife( can't find a better translation for this, I'm not good with weapon names).
-Other than the usually stats increasing abilities that you can give to equipment, there will also be abilities that recover TP levels or ATB bars. There's also the usually elemental status and physical defence abilities (that are not unlike those in FFX's weapon system I supposed). You can also try to chained these abilities by equiping the right things.[/spoil]
