- Caption in Red by the Left-hand side: And like with a 'Bang!' it shoots through your heart! <3
- Summative paragraph at bottom: The machine Vanille is on top of is her summon Hecatoncheir that has finally been revealed to the public! - Huge caption across bottom of Page 2 & 3: Each character's Vision and Focus is like a thread that interweaves to form a story of destinies.
- Header above picture of Vanille & Fang: What could the 6 L'Cies be gazing up to?
- Caption for picture of Vanille & Fang: A stoic Fang seems to be protecting a scared and worried Vanille, against something that seems to be towering high above them.
- Paragraph at top right corner: FFXIII is a story set in the futuristic city of Cocoon, and the untouched wilderness of Gran-Pulse that it floats above. In less than 10 days, we will soon uncover the mysteries behind each of the characters' Visions and their struggle to fight against their destinies. Here in this issue, we will reveal more about Hecatoncheirs, as well as the new characters revealed in the latest trailer. Please look forward also to an exclusive interview with FFXIII producer and director Kitase and Toriyama!
- Blue bit in the middle of page: "The threat from above descends and blocks the party's only way forward." Forced out of their own will to become L'Cies, Lightning and her comrades are bestowed confusing Visions that speak of their Focuses. In front of the 6 of them seems to descend another strong opponent, even as they battle enemy after enemy of increasing difficulty. Yet, this enemy from above seems to have an unparalleled strength and power than ever before... Even as the whole world is against them, they have no choice but to fight onwards.
- Header on right of picture with Snow & Lightning: Hanging on to a heart of determination.
- Caption for picture with Snow & Lightning: With resolved determination against any oncoming threats, Snow lets out a smirk of fearlessness. Behind Snow with her hands folded, Lightning seems to share the same resolve.
Page 3
- Header at top of page: A piercing stare and fluid swordplay, void of any hesitation.
- Caption for topmost photo: We can see that Sazh's L'Cie mark on his chest seems to be undergoing some changes and turning red... Could his time left to complete his Focus be nearing an end? Is he nearing the time when he will turn into a monstrous Cie Corpse? And what about his fellow comrades who are likewise L'Cies...?
- Header on left of picture with Lightning & Behemoth: The monsters from Pulse?!
- Blue bit below topmost picture: "Each of their resolves will change the whole world." In what seems to be a background of a Cocoon city, Lightning is seen in the image to the left battling a King Behemoth single-handedly. Armed with determined resolution and the support of her comrades, Lightning seems to be able to hold up against the high-leveled monster.
*Black box is just about what we already know about the world of FFXIII, so I won't bother translating.

- Paragraph at very top: Since FFII there has been a character going by the name of 'Cid', and in FFXIII it is no exception. In this installment, Cid is a highly ranked general that patrols the skies, that is at the same time highly skilled in combat.
- Header on left of picture with Cid: Cid fixes his gaze upon Lightning.
- Caption for picture with Cid: Cid is seen here holding on to Lightning's sword. Considering that Lightning is widely known to players as being extremely skilled in combat; if he can so easily take hold of Lightning's sword, it must speak highly of Cid's combat abilities as well.
- Blue bit below second image of Cid: "A highly ranked military man who has safeguarded the skies of Cocoon for years." The brigade that Cid leads ("Kiheitai"), is one that patrols the skies above Cocoon with a fleet of superior airships that no other brigade possesses. In the event of any emergency, these airships are deployed swiftly to the site where the brigade is needed.
- Blue bit next to picture inset: Multiple lit signs can be spotted behind Cid, bearing some sort of insignia made up of lances and wings. This is probably the insignia of the air brigade that Cid leads.
- "Playback: A History of Cid": Like Chocobos, Cid is an important aspect of any FF installment and plays a considerable role. Since FFII, Cid has appeared in the game, with a role that is somehow always linked to airships. Let's delve a little into his history.
> FFII's Cid: Cid makes his debut appearance as the head pilot of an airship. He hands over his airship to Firion after his death.
> FFVII's Cid Highwind: The second time after FFIV that Cid is a playable character. He pilots his eponymous airship, the 'Highwind'.
> FFXII's Cidolfus Demen Bunansa: The first time that Cid appears as a villain. He is the father of Balthier.

- Caption at top of page: Cid apologizes sincerely to Snow.
- Little description for Cid Raines: A high ranking general that leads the air brigade (Kiheitai). He is well looked upon by his superiors, and has also at the same time earned the trust of his subordinates. Somehow, though, it seems that he doesn't quite approve of the way the Sanctum handles things. This likely speaks of the slightly rebellious heart within.
- Blue bit at bottom right corner: "Able to treat Pulse L'Cie equally and without prejudice." In the topmost image, Cid can be seen apologizing to Snow sincerely. To the Sanctum, Snow is one of the L'Cies from Pulse, and should be blacklisted for being a threat to the citizens of Cocoon; why is it that Cid is treating Snow with such respect? On the other hand, we can see Fang standing on Cid's side; it's likely that it is with Cid's air brigade that she is working hand in hand with at the beginning. It is also apparent from this scene that Cid has a different view and manner in treating L'Cies as compared to the Sanctum. Perhaps, this goes to show that even within the Sanctum, there're others who aren't as opposed to L'Cies like Cid?
- Bit below the 3 picture insets of, from left to right, Cid, Jihl and Yaag's ranks: From the ranks, it is apparent that Cid far outranks the leaders of PSICOM, Jihl and Yaag. We can notice differences in their ranks.
*Just thought I'd highlight this rather interesting bit at the bottom about NORA; is it just me or has the name of the fourth member of NORA already been revealed? Anyway, here's the translation: "NORA: A rebel group made up of young members led by Snow. Comprises Gadot, Lebreau, Maqui and Yooj/Yuge."[/spoil]
