Summer Updates!
07 21 2010 7:21PM
Hello Navy Field Fans,
I hope you are enjoying the nice summer! I have a few updates today to share with
you.
1. CV Updates
As part of the new ONF project, we are working on CVs now following the sub patch.
As you know, some patches have already been implemented for CV players and I am
seeing many CV players approve the changes. More are on their way in next
month's patch. I have received many comments and have also read through many
threads about the CV patches requesting for details about when the updates would
be coming. I would like to remind you that every update we do takes time. Please
have patience and rest assured that they are under development. Even if it may
look like very simple work to you, it is not. For example, we are working on updating
the CV interfaces and our graphic teams have created +100 of new graphic images
just for updating simple CV interfaces. Please just bear with us until we release the
patch to you.
2. French BB 6 and CV 6
I know many of MN players are looking forward to playing their last and best ships.
However, originally our dev team made the special provision that MN lines would be
able to select one BB6 and CV6 from among the current nations: United States,
Japan, Germany and United Kingdom. However, I know there are many players
waiting for their own unique MN BB6 and CV6. So, I would like to ask you to vote on
this subject. We will take a look into it. Please check the vote section.
3. Soviet revealing!
I would like to share some our latest work on the new nation, Soviet Union. As I
mentioned on last update, they are almost done. Here are some images for it. I
really like the shipyard image that our graphic team worked on. Ship images are for
the ship tree, so they look small but you still can see them. From my past updates, I
have mentioned that new nations will only be available to premium subscription
players, except France. I received many concerns on this from players so we have
changed it. We will instead use a single onetime pay to play method. The full details
will be coming once the Soviet Union is available to play. Please enjoy the photos
and let us know your thoughts.
