PS Vita Gets Skype Video and Voice Calling Today

Hi everyone! My name is Manrique Brenes and I’m the senior director of the consumer electronics group at Skype. We’ve very happy to announce that the Skype Video and Voice calling app for PS Vita will be available later today on PlayStation Store.

Starting later today, you can enjoy free Skype calls on PS Vita. You’ll be able to keep in touch with gamers around the globe while you’re on the go as Skype is available for both the 3G/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi models.

The Skype app includes free Skype-to-Skype voice calling, as well as high-quality video calling that utilizes PS Vita’s front and rear cameras. The Skype app on PS Vita runs in “background mode” while you’re gaming or using other applications* — meaning you have the capability to “pause” a game, conduct a call and then return to your previous activity — so you never miss a call. Plus, with a little Skype credit you can make low-cost calls to landlines and mobile directly from your PS Vita.

Levine: Irrational Currently Focused On BioShock Infinite, “Not As Focused” On BioShock Vita As They Will Be

Ken Levine has given an update on the status of BioShock Vita.

In an interview with Wired, Ken Levine first said the following about BioShock Vita, which echo earlier comments he had made about showing the game:

I always say, look, don’t believe the hype. Listen to you guys, or listen to your buddies or go on the internet when a game comes out. But you shouldn’t be complaining about developers hyping their work, because you should just not listen to them. That’s their job, is to hype it.

I’m fortunate that I get to hype things I really believe in, I don’t have to go out and hype stuff I don’t believe in. And when I’m not ready to hype it, I just don’t talk much about it and that’s why when people ask me about the Vita game, I just say I’m not ready to talk about it because I don’t have anything to show yet.

When asked whether or not Irrational was working on BioShock Infinite and BioShock Vita simultaneously, he said:

These games really are all-consuming endeavors. You do want to keep the ball rolling but it is tough to give it your full attention before you finish what you have. But we’re getting there with Infinite.

So yeah, we’re not as focused on the Vita game as we will be.

Gamearts' Next PlayStation Vita Title Dokuro Hits in July | OFFICIAL SITE

Gung-Ho announced today a July 5 release date for Dokuro, Gamearts second PlayStation Vita title following Ragnarok Odyssey. The game will be priced ¥2,400 at retail and ¥1,800 via PSN download. The first print run for the retail version will include an original micro fiber cloth.

Call of Duty Vita is Still Coming; Activision’s Dan Amrich Confirms

An installment in the mega-popular shooter franchise Call of Duty was announced for PlayStation Vita at Sony’s 2011 E3 press conference, but word on the game’s development and release has been frustratingly hard to come by in the months since. Call of Duty fans and Vita owners can now rest assured that the game is not just a pipe dream left by the wayside. Earlier today, Activision Social Media Manager Dan Amrich confirmed via Twitter that Call of Duty Vita is still in development. Amrich’s tweets also indicated that Call of Duty Vita will be a console port, but the game’s developer (and which version it’s based upon) is still unknown.

With a major Call of Duty announcement coming from Treyarch tomorrow (rumors point heavily toward the reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2), it’s possible that we may hear something about the Vita version as well. Indeed, the possibility exists that Call of Duty Vita might be a direct cross-platform port of Black Ops 2.

Đang xài cho cả ipad,iphone và vita thấy rất tốt giá bằng con của sony nhưng dung lượng gấp 4 lần

Trên PSV thì chỉ có công bố bản này, phát hành trên cả thế giới vào hè. Hình như trên PS3 cũng vừa mới ra 1 bản nữa (chẳng rõ có làm cho PSP không - Nhật) là DJM Black Square PSP (xem quả trailer HD tưởng của PS3 )
