The latest Medal of Honor could be heading to the PlayStation Vita based on a new retailer finding.
ShopTo has located a listing for Medal of Honor: Warfighter on French retailer site CDiscount. The page says it’ll be available in October when the console/PC versions launch.
If this is actually happening, EA will probably have something to say during E3 this coming week.
Sony’s recent “Forsaken Souls” domain registration was related to Soul Sacrifice after all.
Responding to a question about the name, Sony’s Olivier Banal wrote on the European PlayStation Blog:
“‘Forsaken Souls’ was a regional WIP title. The game will be distributed in Japan, North America and Europe under the name of ‘Soul Sacrifice’.”
And so the Forsaken Souls rumor saga comes to an end…
Assassin’s Creed III is coming to Vita, but it isn’t the same title as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC version. The latest Game Informer has revealed a spinoff for Sony’s handheld, subtitled “Liberation”.
- Set in New Orleans
- Play as female assassin Aveline
- Aveline is of of mixed heritage, French/Black
- Same time period as Assassin’s Creed III
- Made by Ubisoft Sofia
- Takes place during 1765-1780
- Same period as the French and Indian War
- “True Assassin’s Creed gameplay”
- Not connected to Desmond
- “multiplayer specifically tailored to the vita experience”
- “the game has been released as a propaganda tool by Abstergo, who want players to experience a gray area of the Assassin/Templar conflict as an assassin rather than a templar”
- Aveline’s mentor is an escaped slave named Agate
- Agate is the leader of the assassins in New Orleans
- Wildlife such as alligators “wait on the banks of the swamp or hide beneath murky waters”
- Will have players visiting the Gulf into Mexico
- Takes place in “Large gameplay areas, you can run, climb, fight, and explore the entirety of New Orleans without loading a new area.”
- Aveline and Connor will meet in Liberation
- Use front/rear controls to pick pockets
- Someone else is using the Animus
- New weapons such as a sugarcane machete, pistols, muskets, grenades
Assassin’s Creed: Liberation launches October 30.

esterday, a number of journalists reported on an odd phone call seemingly from Nintendo about Wii U. However, the source appears to be from Bloober Team, who are teasing a new game titled “Medium”.
It sounds like the actual text from the phone call could have been “Do you know about Medium? If not, you will.”
Medium is in the works for Wii U, PlayStation 3, Vita, Xbox 360, PC, Android, and iOS. It’s described as a “completely new model of gameplay”. I assume we’ll be hearing about the title at E3.
A teaser site for Medium can be found here. In addition, a couple of art pieces have been attached above.

A new advert on the official PlayStation website is teasing “the future of PlayStation Plus” at Sony’s E3 press conference tomorrow, June 4, at 6 p.m. Pacific / 9 p.m. Eastern.
Whispers from late last month suggested a major revamp is to be announced at the conference, which would include Sony giving away “top tier” games for free, and implementing proper PlayStation Vita integration.
Crytek, the developer behind such titles as Crysis 3 and Homefront 2, doesn’t have any plans to make games for the Wii U or PlayStation Vita at the moment. Founder and CEO Cevat Yerli shared the update in an interview with German site Golem.
Although Crytek won’t be involved with Wii U software development, the studio’s CryEngine technology will be incorporated into projects from other companies. Yerli sees Sony’s handheld as appealing from a technical standpoint, but feels it could be too late to get involved with the platform from a business perspective.
Yerli said (rough translation):
“We don’t have anything planned for either console. For the WiiU there will be games running on CryEngine, but they are from licensees. The PlayStation Vita is uncertain to us as a platform. On a technical level the Vita is appealing to me, without a doubt we could have fun with it. From a business perspective however it’s somewhat too late.”
kiểu này các bố sợ cái handheld của sony lắm rồi,ít game quá,chắc lo bị hack như cái psp quá![]()

Play-Asia is listing a Metal Gear Solid for PlayStation Vita, available in both the English and Japanese languages.
Now, before you say, “But it’s just the HD Collection, which we already know is due for Vita this month,” think again. The retailer has up separate listings for the PlayStaiton Vita HD Collection (English, Japanese).
As PSNStores’ Ben says on NeoGAF, “So… Kojima sure is in LA isn’t he.”
