After the daughters pleaded for help on social media, the man was picked up by an ambulance plane on Sunday morning and transported to Turkey. On Sunday morning a Turkish ambulance aircraft landed in Sweden. In connection with it, a 47-year-old man, who according to Turkish media has dual citizenship, was loaded aboard the aircraft. The reason: Although he is ill in covid-19, he received no help from Swedish health care, according to his two daughters who desperately asked for help on social media.
According to the daughters, their father suffered high fever and later shortness of breath. On a visit to the hospital, according to the daughters, it was confirmed that the father was infected with covid-19. But he was sent home with pain tablets.
"We live in Sweden with my family. My father's fever rose eleven days ago and he started to get short of breath. We called several times every day, but they did not come to us, ”writes one of the daughters in a post on Twitter that has spread widely.
However, the condition worsened and the daughters called 112 for the father to be picked up by ambulance. However, according to the daughters, the ambulance staff said they could not bring the father to hospital.
