Tom Henderson has shared on the leaker site Insider Gaming with more information regarding the Assassin’s Creed Codename RED, including the main character and release dates.

→ The game is planned to be released on the end of 2024, or more info will be officially released in early 2024. Based on the habits of Ubisoft's recent game launch timings and delays, the date might change.

→ There will be 2 playable character, a male Samurai and a female Kunoichi. The Samurai is an African refugee, and Tom believes that the character is based off Yasuke. The Kunoichi character is not known to have a historical counterpart, and her combat style is faster than the Samurai.

→ Stealth is one of the key aspects in the game, players can hide in the dark or extinguish lamps to keep it dark. They can even hide the corpse of the slain enemies to keep a low profile.

→ The stages contains breakable objects, and players can use tools to break things that are seemingly breakable in real life, e.g. a door handle.
