This event is still a while off but I decided to start the signups for it early,
Dates for next event
18th August - 10th September prelims
20th september finals in San Jose (4 teams)
The format will be fairly simple each server will have a KO tourney to find their 4 best
teams (single elimination format), these 4 teams will then compete with the teams
from the other servers to find the final 4 teams for the finals (This will also be a KO
tourney but it will be seeded based upon your position in your servers tourney and
teams from the same server will all be in different brackets so you will only play
teams from the other servers)
The final 4 teams will then move to San Jose and 2 of these teams will then be sent
to the finals in korea (in Nov)
This event is fleet based so all players must be in the same fleet, each player may
only compete for 1 team regardless of if his account is in different fleets on other
servers. TNF may field a team if it does it will fill the 4th spot if one server cant get 4
teams for the event if all servers can field at least 4 teams it will participate on the
AZ server.
To apply send a team list of 24 players (there will be 20 ships for the event which
will be disclosed later and 4 reserves) to me using my email which is
[email protected]
I will close signups at the end of July which is in 30 days.
Fleet leaders from the NFWW I still need your suggestions on ship changes so when
I talk to the GM's about ships for this event I have a complete list of ideas. ATM the
rules will be similar to those for the NFWW (barring the point system as that proved
to be silly)
