Với sự kiện Hội chợ điện tử lớn nhất hành tinh Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2010 gần kề, thế giới game được hâm nóng bởi hàng loạt thông tin , trailer, demo, thậm chí là tin đồn của những tựa game bom tấn hay các thiết bị chơi game mới đang trong giai đoạn phát triển mà các nhà sản xuất chuẩn bị "khai hỏa" tại E3. Trong đó có việc LucasArts tung ra trailer CGI dài 4 phút của Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 với những pha chiến đấu hớp hồn gamer của StarKiller, hay việc Tomnobu Itagaki - cha đẻ của 2 tựa game hành động đối kháng đỉnh cao Ninja Gaiden và Dead or Alive, và cũng là cựu binh của Tecmo - lập studio mới với tên gọi Valhalla Game Studio để cho ra đời tựa game thứ 5 của ông là Devil's Third, hứa hẹn sẽ là một chuẩn mực mới của dòng game hành động, hay việc tin đồn về sự xuất hiện của 3 tựa game chưa từng được công bố sẽ có mặt tại E3 là : Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2 và Dead or Alive 5 do một lỗi kỹ thuật của trang gamespot.com, hay việc Microsoft tung ra thiết bị chơi game 3D không cần kính cho máy XBOX 360 là thật hay giả,......
