U don't understantd that CSO-NST is using sprite to show effect-killer, and those sprite is configed by 4 index in hud.txt thus NST don't code to detect client resolution. That's differentce between 2 editions. U wanna show great effect-killer? i recommend u using .tga file instead of sprites! waiting CSCFE release u will be seen soon!
I play NST only on 640x480 resolution. I mean .tga pic, not sprite. CSO-NST Beta 3 Effects Killer looks ugly and are located somewhere on the top. That's why i like djb method with detecting client resolution.
