San Francisco is a city in California on the west coast of the United States, known for its fog, hills, architecture, landmarks and much more. San Francisco is one of the most populous and most densely populated cities in the country, with a population of 808,976 (as of July 2008, U.S. Census Bureau) and is a large center of activity for the Bay Area. Living across the bay from San Francisco, I visit often and am on the lookout for new add-ons for FSX of the area. Not too long ago, Aerosoft released their US Cities X San Francisco add-on and I became excited to try it out and learn more. imwings did have the BAA as an official partner for this project which makes it as realistic as can be with a foresight in to the future. Using up-to-date 3d files for many buildings according to BAA plans to include even the newest (and some in real life still under construction) layout and buildings. Check out what EGLL will be like in October 2008!

There is no doubt this product is one of the most detailed and precise major airports scenery ever done (still with excellent frames), but as Simwings have shown in the past, it is not only these technical details that make a great scenery, it is also the fact that they make an airport come to life in the simulator. If you like big airports this is one you simply can't miss.

Air Greenland was founded in 1960. Today it is owned by the Government of Greenland (37.5%), Scandinavian Airlines (37.5%) and the Danish State (25%).
The airline uses the Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 757-200 for scheduled flights to Scandinavia as well as on charter flights around Europe. Air Greenland operates an extended domestic network with the Dash 7 and helicopters.

Hawaii Dillingham X (FSX only)

Located on the north shore of O'ahu (Hawaii), a small airfield awaits your visit. Dillingham has a long and wide runway (it used to be a training base for the US Army and they like big runways) but these days it is only used for recreational aviation. The weather conditions and the stunning setting on the ocean shore make it a near perfect location for gliding and parachuting.
With this product we tried to get the 'feel' of the airfield just right. Dillingham is a relaxed airport, with friendly people who never seem to be in a hurry. The small details all over the airport contribute to making this a new 'home' in FSX, a place where your aircraft is based while you explore the wonderful Hawaiian Islands.

Designed by Bill Womack after an extensive visit last winter, it comes clear why Bill has such a large following of GA and bush pilots. He has an incredible eye for detail and the technical knowledge to develop it for FSX.

The Air France Group is not only one of the largest airline groups in the world but Air France is also one of the largest operators of the Airbus A340 which are used for routes from its Paris CDG hub to North & South America, Africa and Asia.
This program features a roundtrip from Paris on a Middle East route as well as on a route to South America, each very different types of operation. Our Flight Instructor and his crew will explain different features about each of these flights including cockpit set-up, route etc... We also witness Air France's fine in flight service and the usual dose of scenery including a superb approach to Cairo with views of the pyramids and flight over the Nile and the city.

US Cities X - New Orleans (FSX only)

US Cities X is a series of city scenery for FSX that covers US cities created by LimeSim. Based on an extensive aerial image it will have all the major buildings and landmarks plus all the heliports that are inside the covered areas.
It is clearly intended to fill the gap between the default scenery and very high dense city scenery such as Manhattan X, London VFR or Venice X. Because the file size is rather large due to the ground image it only includes one season (in most cases this is not a real issue) and no night textures. The VFR flights over these cities is mostly a day time affair anyway. The third in this range is New Orleans.

About 30,000 of autogen buildings placed realistically
All five heliports and one seaplane base in good detail

South African Airways recently became an Airbus A340 operator and one of the versions operated on busy long haul routes in the dash 600.

This dvd begins with a tour of the A340-600 from a maintenance perspective. This is followed by a typical flight in the cabin from Jo'burg to Frankfurt.

The next meeting place is Airbus' facility in Toulouse where our crew is about to take delivery of the last A340-600 for SAA. From the flight preparations we follow the pilots as we ferry the aircraft back to SAA's main base with a detour into British airspace.
