Q. How often do unique monsters spawn?

A. I cannot give the exact time however, unique monsters will respawn randomly after their first death. There are not too many unique monster appearances in the course of a single day so keep your eyes open.

Q. How much more powerful is a Seal of Star/Moon/Sun equipment in comparison to normal + bonus equipment?

Rare items each have differences in power so it is difficult to give an exact answer however in a normal approximate observation; a basic Seal of Star item will have at least a +7 equivalent value, a basic Seal of
Sun will have at least a +15 value. Seal of Moon items will occupy the middle values between the two.

We would like to post notice for users located in Vietnam (hereinafter, Vietnamese Users) that the Vietnamese version of Silkroad Online will be soon in service. We have been working on the Vietnamese version ever since the preparation of the Open Service for Global Server in cooperation with our Vietnamese partner, VDC-NET2E, and is scheduled to be in service in mid 2006 in Vietnam.

We believe that the launching of the service in Vietnam will contribute to providing better playing circumstance for Vietnamese Users. However, we regret to inform you that upon the launching of the service, the Vietnamese IPs connected to Global Server will be blocked.

Therefore, Vietnamese Users must create new accounts and characters in the Vietnamese server to play Silkroad Online afterwards. As the Vietnamese version will be available in a few months from now, we would like to assist the Vietnamese Users in enjoying play on the Global Server until the Vietnamese version is launched but we kindly advise Vietnamese Users not to purchase any "premium items" that will be in service, as of March 14, on the Global Server. Upon the IP block, any purchased "premium items" under the blocked IPs will neither be in service or refundable.

Nevertheless, we are happy to inform you that our Vietnam partner VDC-NET2E is planning to offer rewards to users moving from the Global Server to the Vietnamese server in a way that could give a certain advantages in the game to start playing in the Vietnamese server. As soon as the details are confirmed, we will post notice to you.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support!

Notice: Please let us explain the background of the blocking of Vietnamese IPs. There are 4 countries so far that we blocked IPs from; China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea and it will soon be applied for Vietnam. These are the countries where our game, is in service currently or will be in service in the local language, in cooperation with a local publisher and we had to take this action to let the publishers focus on serving local users better. We won??t have any further IP blocks against other territories with the exception of the countries described above.

Minority of the users using macro in Silkroad Online are being discovered.
Macro programs not only destroy game balance, but are also a factor that prevents the settlement of healthy game culture. Therefore users using macro programs that are found within the game will be punished severely.

Macro programs also harm PCs through viruses and are mainly responsible for problems regarding hacking.

For the settlement of a healthier game culture, please do not use macro programs. If users find any macro programs being widely spread throughout websites, please report through the use of bug report located under customer service.

[Event Sequence]
1.Through the hunting of monster, you gain egg.

2.Through conversation with the NPC, So-Ok, who will be in every town, you can exchange your egg for a present.

3. If you have empty space in your inventory, then you will be able to receive the gift.
4. If you right click on the monster summoning scroll, a monsters will be spawn depending on the type of scroll you use.
5. Monsters will disappear 5 minutes after they spawn.

* Both the summoning scrolls and eggs will be erased after the end of this event and so we urge you to use all event related items before then.

Information on the compensation of the time lost on Gold/Silver Time items due to the server down is also being announced below.

Event Information:

1. Experience points, skill points achieved through hunting: 30% increase
2. Amount of gold dropped: 50% increase
3. Chance of item being dropped: 100% increase

[Gold/Silver Time Restoration Information]

Restoration Date: 05/02/2006 during inspection

Restoration Information: A 1 day ticket will be restored in the user's storage during inspection time.

Things to Note : There must be an empty slot in the storage to be able to receive the ticket.
