Hầu các band nu metal Mỹ đều xuất phát từ California trừ SlipKnoT là từ Iowa.

Bên dưới cái sign mình có chữ download đấy, We Major là một bài hát và cũng là lấy tên thành album của Fort Minor:-*
 
The '00s are ending as positively as they began for Linkin Park, whose 2000 debut, Hybrid Theory, ranked as the seventh best-selling album of the decade. With the recent release of the fan club-only rarities compilation LPU9: Demos and a Grammy nomination for best Hard Rock Performance for "What I've Done," from their live album, Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes, the California sextet has little to complain about.

"It's been an absolutely unbelievable ten years," says Mike Shinoda, the band's resident rapper and sonic mastermind. "But I'm even more excited to find out what the future has to offer." So what will the future bring? To start, the release of an as-yet-untitled new Linkin
Park album and, hopefully, some other guerilla-style goodies. Here's what Shinoda tells Spin about the new album:

On the New Album
"Well, Rick Rubin is producing it. I'd say we're about halfway done. I'm really happy with what we have so far. We're having a ton of fun in the studio. We really want to do something special and unique for the next record -- we want to redefine the band. I feel like on Hybrid Theory we wanted to introduce ourselves to the world with a certain sound. Then on [2003's] Meteora we were trying to show that we weren't a fluke and we could do the
sound that made us successful a second time. By the time we got to [2007's] Minutes to Midnight, we wanted to break down that sound and go outside its confines. Now that we've done that, we feel like we can do anything."

Describing the Songs
"That would be really hard for me to do. I have a tough time doing that. But I can say that it sounds brand new. The thing is, there are so many different ways to make music these days with virtual instruments, software applications, physical instruments, and computer programs. Then when you get in the position of being able to use almost any of it
-- that's what we did on Minutes to Midnight. We wanted to play with as many instruments and sounds as we could. But on the new record, now that we have a sense of everything that's available to us, we can reel it in a bit and focus on just the things that we like, which so far is turning out to mean music that is more beat-driven and has a keyboard and drum machine kind of feel."

Thì ở đây đâu có thớt SlipKnoT,kiến nghị mai mốt anh em mình thay vì làm một thớt Linkin Park thì làm một thớt chung về dòng nu đi.
 
À cái đó thì tùy tâm thôi ,bạn thích cũng có thể lập 1 topic riêng về Nu, mà có topic của Slipknot rồi thì phải, chìm đâu lâu rồi.
 
Ừ, topic chung về Nu cũng tốt..vì topic riêng về LP thì hơi vắng bóng người qua đường...

We had our first Monday meeting of 2010. First, we took a listen to the first five songs, which are almost finished and sounding great. I was going to tell you guys the working titles...but I changed my mind. I realized if I did that, the linkinpark.com, lpunderground.com, and fan site forums would be flooded with threads about them, where people make crazy guesses about the songs' sounds based on the working title...followed by thousands of fake links to "leaked mp3s" within a few days. Since I have great respect for your valuable time, I won't tempt you to waste it on such things. :)

Anyway, back to Monday: We started thinking about the second batch...we have 15-20 songs that we like, and we'll be picking a new batch from those. There are a few common themes beginning to circulate in the lyrics and in the music. As I think I mentioned, the record might be a little more conceptual than our other ones. Not a "concept album" per se (it's not as far-out as that term would have you imagine), but it definitely has some thematic threads tying it together.

One funny thing came to mind as I was writing this: the term "genre busting" seems to keep coming up when talking about this album. In fact, if you Google "genre busting," the first thing you get is a link to an interview with me about this new music. If you read the piece, you'll see the following:

Linkin Park co-frontman Mike Shinoda says the band’s fourth studio album is going to be so unique, “they’re going to have to come up with a new genre name for what this record is.”

This offhanded comment was meant to be a bit of a joke. Most people don't take it as lightly as I meant it; because of that, part of me regretted saying it. But recently, there's a voice in the back of my head saying: Why not really make that the bar? "So unique that they'll have to make a new genre name." I don't know if we'll ever be able to hit that mark, but we might as well give it a shot.

Mike thật là biết suy nghĩ, fan chịu thiệt không biết working title nhưng bù lại đỡ tốn thời giờ cho mấy cái stupid leaking :-<
 
nội bộ Nu thì cũng lùm xùm lắm chứ chả hòa bình gì đâu =))

fan các band Nu Slipknot, LB với Korn đâu có ưa gì LP =))
 
Vì đó là những kẻ thiển cận,rock nó là một tính từ về tinh thần,nghe để hiểu chứ đâu phải khẳng định hơn thua.
 
Có fanboy với fan girl mới lộn xộn với mấy fan khác 8-|

The new Linkin Park game is on the way. I just got a new test-build of the game, and it's looking great. As you would expect, my bandmates and I worked hand-in-hand with the design team to create the look and content of the game. For fans of my art: you'll see some new and familiar characters come to life in this 8-bit-meets-hi-res virtual world.

In the game, you have been chosen by the rebellion to solve a mystery. Items have been stolen from the six leaders of the rebellion. Collecting these items is the rebellion's only hope to thwarting the plans of the evil PixxelKorp.

I can't give away too many details about the game just yet…but I can tell you this: for all the Linkin Park fans excited to hear new music, I have some big news for you: if you finish this game, you get more than just a credit screen.

You get a brand new Linkin Park song.

The game will be available on the iPhone and iPod touch soon. More to come…

Dễ quá thì ai cũng mua cái Ipod rồi, dạo này đang dành tiền mua cái máy mới đặng còn Rip CD nữa:(
 
hix. Bác RIP ra CD làm gì. Mua một con ổ cứng gắn ngoài về. Rẻ hơn tiền bác mua 8 còn USb là dung lượng thì hơn nhiều 8 con USb 2 gb đc có 16 Gb còn 1tr 6 đó đủ mua 160 Gb ổ gắn ngoài. Bác chọn cái nào
Còn RIP CD bác ra hàng đĩa nhờ người ta RIP cho :D

Hic cứ tưởng LP game dc chơi trên PC

Phong cách 8-bit :))
Linkinpark.com có skin mới nè :)). Chỉ có LPU member xem dc. Screen mượn của 1 ông trong*6 LPL. >:). Đợi nó dc publish nhá :))
 
cái này thì biết lâu rồi, mua cái LPU 9 có pass là vào được thôi í mà;))
