How are you all doing? I hope all are well. Here are my updates for August.
1. New Aircrafts for CV
As all of you know, we have new SBB and SCVs in the server. Many players were
concerned over new aircrafts for the new CVs. I have discussed it with the dev team
and they understood the situation. New aircrafts are under development (currently
in 3D modeling process) and I predict they will be finished within a few weeks. They
are Tier 4 aircraft.
2. National Pack Progress
Since not many 3D max experts have volunteered for graphic modeling, we have
decided to build a graphic studio in China. We have set up the studio and are
currently hiring developers. As soon as we have finished training them, new ships
will be developed. I will keep updating you on any new information concerning this
project.
3. Submarines
I am seeing a really positive movement ever since submarines were placed in the
servers. It seems like many players are enjoying them. Since this is the first stage of
the submarines, I believe there are lots of aspects that can be improved in the
future. If you have suggestions and ideas please let us know, or you can just talk
one of our TNF members. Furthermore, additional submarines are coming and are
currently under the development process.
4. Sleeping Account System
As a result of the demand of many players, we have incorporated a sleeping
Account? system. This is for players who are leaving NF for an extended period of
time (at least 20 days), and who wish their NF subscriptions not to go to waste as a
result. When using the system please be aware that once your request has been
accepted, and your account is in sleep mode, we are unable to manually release the
account. You have to wait until your requested return day has been reached.
Therefore, please think carefully before requesting a sleeping account.
5. Thank you for helping to test Bugs Rider!
I want to give a big thanks for all of those players that helped us test our new game,
Bugs Rider. There were a few problems, but the test has ended successfully with
your help. I believe we need one more final test before we start the open best test.
I hope with your help we can improve Bugs Rider once more. We will announce the
details about it as soon as we have the date for the test. Once again, thank you all
for your help to make Bugs Rider better.
6. NF Party Weekend
There has been too much controversy surrounding this event. I was a bit surprised
after seeing player's responses about this. Honestly, I was not fair with the setup of
the event, but the thing is, I wanted to help players who could not play as much
paying players. I want to throw out the disclaimer that this event will not be fair
again, it goes on like this or I will not hold the event. However, I do understand the
players who have been complaining about it, so I will make a poll on this. I will let
you to choose the event style. Please check the NF poll section in a few days.
7. New NF Trade System
One day, I was thinking about NF and in particular, what is a weak aspect of NF at
the moment that we can make noticeable improvements upon? So, I started out in
NF again from level 1 and found that the NF trade system is very inconvenient. I
began to think about how to change it and I finally came up with an idea that I want
to share with you right now. The NF trade system will be changed so that with the
new trade system you do not have to meet other players to trade your item. Once
we have developed the new NF trade system you can just trade items with it. You
just put the item in the trade box and put the ID that you want to send to. It will
then automatically send it to the player. Also, many players have been complaining
about the 50 sailor limitation per account. We have kept looking into this but have
been thus far unable to increase the limit otherwise the data will corrupt easily. So, I
got an idea from players who use multiple accounts. Within the trade system, you
will be able to link your storage account to your main account. So, between the two
linked accounts there would be no limitation on trading items. This would mean
anything and everything including premium ships, premium sailors, BOs, credits, etc.
However, in order to first link your storage account, the storage account will need to
be reset. This means there must not be any items in there. Also, if you want to
dismiss a storage account later on, the storage account will automatically be
reset. If you already have a storage account then we may be able to link it to your
account manually. With such a system in place you would be able to have more than
150 sailors. I am currently discussing this system with the devs, so please realize
that the specifications I have described may be subject to change. One thing that is
certain however is that we are indeed working on this right now. I will keep you
posted on the progress.
