* These 2 attacks have their Feint point after the her BRV follow up (see Skill chart), in other words, the button press is O > O > X > O. As mentioned in older reports, her Brv follow up could be done even whiffed the initial hit.
** As you can see, Assist Change launched me high up in the air. Here Tifa was quick enough to drop down for counterattack. But not always true to other characters.
Feint
tl;dr - cannot do other attacks after a Feint. After lag of Feint is long.
Technically speaking, Feint is not a cancelling to your current attack. It is a branch of her attacks. It is stated in the move chart in the customization screen (where you press [] when highlighting a skill to see the explanation). For a move that has only 1 O button press, the skill tree goes like this:
O ---------------->>> represents no Feint
|
---X---O----->>> represents O > Feint > O
And therefore, you cannot do other attacks after a Feint, pressing O (or [] after HP Feint) will just do the second O in the skill tree, which in most cases, is a short range version of the non Feinted attack. Different attacks have different Feint points and could be checked in the skill tree. I have seen at least 1 move having 2 Feint points.
Also, I was not able to DC after a Feint. And the lag after a Feint is HUGE, maybe like 3sec? (they give you this big window for inputting the second O XD)

Too bad couldn't get Kuja to do Force Symphony
*Normal Crossbow has no hold version, just a O button input for a few arrows. While for Switch Crossbow, hold would increase the number of hits, similar to Laguna's Machine Gun, except Vaan could not move.
*Fact: Bare hand -> Switch (insert weapon here)
When Vaan is unarmed, the next move he does will always be the Switch version. His EX mode basically lets you repeat the same weapon's Switch version w/o changing to other weapons, eg:
Switch Crossbow > R+[] > Switch Crossbow > R+[] > Switch Crossbow > R+[] >.....
*Switch Bonus, the word bonus is a bit confusing. It's better to say Switch version.
Vaan's attack has 2 versions, depending on what weapons you are holding, think of this as .. say Ultimecia
"Ultimecia's attack has 2 versions, depending on if you charged or not"
-For example Vaan's Crossbow:
Version 1 = Switch version = use when Vaan is holding other weapons
Version 2 = Normal version = use when Vaan is holding a Crossbow
The 2 versions could be significantly different in appearance, like Ulti's charged Axe vs uncharged Axe.
-The weapon you are holding, will not affect the Switch of the next move.
Eg. (Spear) > Switch Guns
(Crossbow) > Switch Guns
(Greatsword) > Switch Guns
-The 3 Switch Guns are all the same. And obviously: (Guns) > Normal Guns,this is different
-Switch does not really add a bonus to the Normal attack, could be think as 2 different attacks, again, like Ulti's charged Axe vs uncharged Axe.
