PS3 DEX to CEX Switcher PUP's: Proudly presenting these special pups here for DEX users... got a DEX but can't get tools to use the thing? For example newer BD emu tools and such. Well don't fret. I included a set of firmwares here that will take away the pain. Once you run the first PUP it will convert your box to a "retail" box. you can then install Rebug, Kmeaw etc etc. If you ever want to go back to DEX (Debug) then just run the second PUP that came with it and viola back to Debug. Also this all only works on 3.55. kthnxbai.

PS3 4.20 DEX Downgrader: For those running DEX higher then v3.55, you might also need this special downgrade DEX pup to re-enable the feature on your converted DEX machine to go back to any lower version of firmware file. It only needs to be run once, and then you can install the normal 3.55 DEX PUP afterwards.

Description: This file enables you to downgrade again from 4.20 DEX to a lower firmware version.

Usage:

1. Create a PS3 folder on a FAT32 formatted USB stick
2. In that folder create a "UPDATE" folder
3. Copy this PUP inside that "UPDATE" folder
4. Insert the USB stick in your PS3
5. Go to system and update your PS3 through "Update via Storage Media"

PS3 4.20 DEX Firmware PUP: For those wishing to upgrade to the latest in DEX firmware, here is the 4.20 PUP, but remember it still will not give you access to PSN side of the PS3 world.

Rogero 3.55 DEX with Peek & Poke: Here is Rogero's Peek & Poke DEX.

In related news, Itskamel has made available a NewDEXKamel.PUP which he states is a patched 3.55 DEX with peek and poke and also used to install retail PKGs thanking eussNL for the patch.

I have installed and ran Comgenie Awesome File Manager.. please post if you are running other homebrew successfully.

PSN game Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection installed and ran fine with the Duplex fix. (He owns that only one, so he tested only MK) So all PSN games should install and work.

Note: You must change the filename from “NewDEXKamel.PUP” to “PS3UPDAT.PUP”

sáng h lôi con xìlim ra mò mẫm.... hjx đúng rắc rối lun...... có gì mai báo tin cho anh em
 
cá nhân em khuyên mọi người ko nên thử , nên chờ team trueblue xem thế nào đã , vì trueblue vẫn hỗ trợ mình


em ngồi làm thử game theo hướng dẫn ( em chưa làm thử cex-> dex ) , không dễ cũng không khó tuy nhiên có vài vấn đề phát sinh sau:

- ổ của em 160gb mà ko hiểu sao khi chạy bd emulator nó chỉ lưu được đúng 4 game , và hình như ổ format theo định dạng của linux nên windowns ko nhận , rất khó share game

- nhiều khi báo lỗi mà mình không thể hiểu được là lỗi tại đâu , có khi phải backup game lại từ đĩa gốc mới làm được

- hiện tại số lượng game mới test ok ko nhiều , mọi người nên chờ rồi hãy làm

- 3X bước quá nhiều , ko hiểu có bác nào làm cho nó ngắn lại được ko

- hình như sau khi có cái cex-> dex thì nhiều nhà lập trình vọc -> lắm thể loại cfw ->

chờ ko là chết ps3 như chơi
 
Cái bài của bác daivyphuong bác nào chưa đủ trình thử thì cũng phải đủ trình eng để hiểu tất cả file PUP đó là dành cho máy DEX chứ :-?? chỉ có 1 cái CEX->DEX là dành cho máy đã DEX trước đó rồi thôi (trong cái pack DEX->CEX nhanh và ngược lại)

cd /
cd var
cd tmp
cd petitboot
cd mnt

here you can type
ls -al

and find your usb (sda* / sdb* / sdc*) (sda1 means Storage Device "A", partition 1, sdb1 means Storage Device "B", partition 1, etc)

and then you can

cd sda1
./create_hdd_region.sh

(change "cd sda1" appropriately - if you use USB HDD, 1st partition is sda1, second is sda2, etc... If you use USB STICK/FLASH then sdb1/sdb2..)

Lại chờ hở hihi, tại mình mới có ps3 vài tháng thôi, lại dùng OFW nên up lên 4.21 luôn, đang tìm cách chuyển qua DEX, ớn nhất là mở máy downgrade, máy mới mua mà hic :(

Open your “dump_eid0.bin” in a hexeditor of you choosing (I used HXD) and extract your keys - keys are either at start of the file (0x00 - 0x2f) or somewhere else. You can find the right location by searching the dump. You can search for bytes 0x00-0x10 and you may find the proper erk/iv at 0xc0*** location

Khúc này mình cũng không hiểu nên làm đại luôn, miễn là làm xong nó ra file norbin mới và thấy dòng eid0 key trong lúc làm c2d không phải 000...000 hết là được :-?
