Phiên bản thứ hai của tựa game hành động nhập vai Sacred, đã từng làm xao động bao trái tim người yêu game vì những gì mà nó mang lại.
Khi phiên bản đầu tiên của Sacred ra mắt vào năm 2004, mang theo hơi hướng của game nhập vai huyền thoại Diablo, nó đã làm cộng đồng game bị phân chia làm hai phe rõ rệt. Những người ủng hộ nhanh chóng bị thuyết phục, trong khi những người hy vọng một cái gì đó sâu sắc hơn hơn Diablo lại tỏ ra khá thất vọng.

Tiếp nuối sự thành công của người đàn anh, Sacred 2 ra đời...
Nhưng nói gì thì nói, những gì Sacred mang lại thực sự đã để lại tiếng vang lớn trong cộng đồng game, và đó là lý do phiên bản tiếp theo, Sacred 2 ra đời.
Xác định rõ những ưu điểm của Sacred 1, Sacred 2 chứa đựng nhiều nét tương đồng đã đem lại thành công cho phiên bản đầu. Game lấy bối cảnh 2000 năm trước sự kiện diễn ra ở Sacred 1 trên vùng đatts Ancaria. Câu chuyện xoay quanh một dạng vật chất thần bí có tên gọi là T-Energy, một thứ có khả năng nắm giữ hoàn toàn mọi sinh mạng và ý nghĩ.

T-Energy đã biến các sinh vật vô tội trở thành những cỗ máy giết người
Trước kia, T-Energy nằm dưới quyền điều khiển của người Seraphim, nhưng năm tháng qua đi, người Seraphim yếu thế và mất quyền điều khiển T-Energy vào tay thế lực High Elves. Nhưng những rắc rối vẫn chưa chấm dứt, nội bộ High Elves trở nên mâu thuẫn, lục đục và nội chiến đã xảy ra. Cuộc chiến tranh giành quyền lực đã đẩy Ancaria vào thảm họa: không có ai điều khiển, T-Energy đã biến hình và lây lan trên toàn lục địa, biến những sinh vật vô tội trở thành những cỗ máy giết người. Và đó là lúc chúng ta bắt đầu câu chuyện…
Đồ họa đẹp mắt
Sacred 2 trang bị một hệ thống bản đồ mở và rất rộng lớn, lên tới 22 dặm vuông. Game được thiết kế giữa các vùng không có biên giới nên người chơi sẽ không phải chờ đợi khi di chuyển giữa các địa điểm khác nhau.

Đồ họa đầy ấn tượng
Có 6 lớp nhân vật khác nhau cho bạn chọn, trong đó Seraphim được giữ lại từ phiên bản trước. Một điểm đáng thất vọng là hệ thống tùy biến nhân vật khá nghèo nàn. Điểm đáng chú ý duy nhất trong phần này là sự khác nhau về trang phục. Có thể nói, nhân vật trong game được thiết kế rất chi tiết và đẹp, đặc biệt là các nhân vật nữ, trông rất quyến rũ!

Tạo hình nhân vật được chăm chút kỹ lưỡng
Đồ họa của game được chăm chút rất kỹ lưỡng với môi trường 3D hoàn toàn và các hiệu ứng đặc sắc. Khi bạn nhìn thấy cách những hạt mưa làm rung động mặt nước hay ngắm nhìn mặt kính bị mờ đi vì hơi thở, bạn sẽ cảm thấy như hòa mình vào thế giới trong game.
Hệ thống Quest phong phú
Game có 2 hướng đi cho bạn chọn: phe ánh sáng và phe bóng tối, và 2 phe này có liên hệ mật thiết với nhau. Ví dụ, nếu bạn đi theo phe ác, bạn sẽ nhận được nhiệm vụ phải giết một ai đó, trong khi cùng nhiệm vụ đó ở phe thiện thì trách nhiệm của bạn lại là bảo vệ người đó khỏi những thế lực huyền bí. Cách chơi này làm tăng thêm đáng kể giá trị chơi lại của game.

Hệ thống Quest đa dạng với khoảng 100 nhiệm vụ chính và hàng trăm nhiệm vụ phụ
Cũng giống như phiên bản đầu, điểm mạnh của Sacred 2 nằm ở chế độ chơi online, với việc hỗ trợ đến 16 người trong kiểu chơi PvP và 5 người trong PvE. Thú vị ở chỗ bạn có thể chuyển thẳng từ màn chơi single player bạn đang chơi sang chế độ chơi multiplayer của một người bạn, nếu muốn, và còn ấn tượng hơn nữa là tất cả các chỉ số, đồ và điểm kinh nghiệm bạn thu thập được trong khi chơi online vẫn sẽ được giữ nguyên sau khi bạn đã thoát ra.
Hệ thống Quest rất phong phú với khoảng 100 nhiệm vụ chính và hàng trăm nhiệm vụ phụ khác cho bạn thỏa sức tung hoành. Các nhiệm vụ cũng được chia sẻ giữa online và offline. Những nhiệm vụ bạn đã hoàn thành khi online cũng được tính khi bạn chơi offline, vì vậy sẽ rất tuyệt nếu bạn cùng các chiến hữu của mình cùng xử lý một con quái cứng đầu hay lập một nhóm để cùng thám hiểm một hang động nguy hiểm. Nếu bạn là một game thủ bản lĩnh, chẳng khó để tìm được cho mình một đội sẵn sàng vào sinh ra tử cùng bạn.
Vẫn còn thiếu sót
Tuy nhiên, không có gì là hoàn hảo, Sacred 2 cũng vấp phải một số lỗi đáng tiếc, mà đáng kể nhất là chính là về engine đồ họa. Không thể phủ nhận là game rất đẹp, nhưng đó cũng không thể giải thích cho việc tại sao game lại “tàn phá” phần cứng khủng khiếp đến như thế.

Engine của Sacred 2 là điểm mạnh nhưng cũng gây ra một số lỗi cho game

Thử nghiệm cho thấy cả với những máy chạy mượt mà Far Cry 2 hay Crysis Warhead ở chế độ cao nhất thì khi chạy Sacred 2 ở thiết lập High, số khung hình trên giây (FPS) cũng giảm xuống thê thảm, mặc dù đồ họa của Sacred 2 không vượt trội hơn hai game trên. Nếu không được sửa chữa sớm, đây có thể là lý do khiến người chơi quay lưng lại với một game hay như Sacred 2.
Tựu chung lại, nếu bạn muốn tìm kiếm một game thú vị với thế giới mở rộng lớn, thì Sacred 2 là một gợi ý không tồi bởi cách chơi có nhiều cải tiến đáng giá của nó. Với một nhóm bạn, thiết lập một mạng LAN, bạn sẽ có những giờ phút tuyệt vời cùng Sacred 2.
