Hi guys! First of all, please accept my apologize if there are any mistakes or any bad words mean offense ( well, I really don't mean that, for sure )
So, my university requires me to have IELTS band 6.0 or above if I want to graduate and next year will be my final year so the workload will be heavy, so that I need to get that band before October. My university also invite British Council to teach us. I've already learnt level Intermediate to Upermediate and 2 more course of get ready for IELTS but then I have to skip class for 2 months because I have to trainning at hospital for my future job. I found there are many forums help me to improve my skill but I dont know which of them have the most reputation, could you please recommend me some forums? And also give me some tips of studying Academic English at home such as about speaking or writting.
Btw, are there any 1 month courses in Hồ Chí Minh city?
About studying at home, I decide to learn in Cambridge and Get ready for IELTS book, are these two good?

nope, forum won't really help, they are only good at answering questions and that's about it. you may as well ask in this box. 1-month course won't really improve your score, it just increase the likelihood of you getting that score.

I believe when English books are concerned, most aren't much better than the others

Practice makes perfect, always the case, I guess However I recommend practice speaking in a speaking course or at least with a English-speaking foreigner because you cannot just learn to speak correctly yourself.

Read your post and correct me if I'm wrong but you only have September to get 6.0 IELTS right ? So how's your score now ?

Yeah, When I did practive test last 2 months score is enough 6. but at that time I want get higher so I didnt take part in the real test and tend to apply another course , but then university make me to train at hospital for 5 weeks, so I lack of time right now, just have gone to sign at British Council this morning for 06/09 test.

If you just want to past IELTS with a 6.0, you just need to register for IELTS course in stead of stuyding normal english courses. They will give you tips to achieve your needed score and it also will save a lot of time
