[spoil]Wave and Shura are about to fight but Budou steps in and says he'll execute them if they dare to use their Teigus in the palace.
Shura convinces the general to let them at least have a fist fight to settle their dispute.
Shura figures he's going to beat Wave to a bloody pulp, and it looks close for a while, but Wave knocks him out. He's about to continue to beat the shit out of Shura while he's unconscious, but Budou steps in and says the fight is over.
Wave's also knocked out by Budou, but Budou seems to be genuinely impressed by both of them and says they should use that energy on the rebels.
Shura wakes up in front of his father, who is pretty unimpressed, and he tells him he should go take out Night Raid if he wants to redeem himself. Shura's infurious and vows he'll kill Wave when he gets the chance.
Kurome's tending to Wave's wounds when Lan runs in to see if he's alright. Wave lets out that he can't believe this country would let people like the Wild Hunt ruam free, and Lan agrees that there is something deeply wrong with this country.
And this is where Lan reveals his past of being a teacher at a village close to the center of the empire. Until happens and the case gets swept under the rug.
Lan had a choice of joining the rebellion or trying to change things on the inside, and he went with the latter and plans to move up in the empire to accomplish his goals. Wave is pretty supportive, but Lan tells him he shouldn't pick a fight with the Wild Hunt until Esdeath returns. So Wave goes to sleep, while Lan is about to go alone on his mission of vengeance, but Kurome decides to go with him.[/spoil]
