That is to be expected, for it's the main intention of KEY. You should be awared their aim is to make people cry and they have a wide range of experience in making crying game.
I assume you understand its significance in your heart so that you would also understand the more painful it is, the longer its existence would linger in your heart.

Yeh... There're many things to learn from these anime, too.

With Clannad, the most thing I remember:
"Kono gakko ga suki desu ka?
Watashi wa totemo totemo suki desu...".

After that, I watched the Dub show, accidentally I understand the phrase that Tomoya said "Just go and find more!".

Yeah, when something good changes, all we need to do is just to get going to find more!

That aside, I don't know whether you harbor feelings similar to mine but I kinda enjoy the experience of sadness.
I could say I'm addicted to negative emotion and urge that I seek more and more of those alluring sensation through different means that it's possible for me to spend several moment impersonating the characters I've been into, in order to catch their unique feelings.
