Well, used to, so it's over, so move on. Now the easiest way for you to get a job as a student in Vietnam, imo, is to get an IELTS 8.5, then work as TA in centres like BC. And i guess your parents wouldnt mind paying for your exam fee ?

anw, my pocket money is 750k VND per month so I'm a bit satisfied with it.

I know because I almost failed, too. I only have one third of a University life.
I can relate to that. My score went down while my Eng proficiency actuary went up. I've been using Eng 6 hours everyday in professional working environment and more at home for entertainment. And yet got 2 under 7 sub-scores. The IELTS test is weird.
Well that was a hypothetical question but you did manage to make me feel bad about it...

the other day I got a 35m scholarship for APTECH's 2.5 year international ACCP program (a diploma in programming, http://www.aptech-education.com/courses-accp-pro.aspx) and asked my parent to pay the remaining 25m (others had to pay the full 60m). After lots of shit they agreed, but added "No pocket money for you now, since we paid for the course" and I was speechless. I mean, really???

Have a serious discussion with your parents and explain your opinion. Well, I know that kind of conversation is a bit awkward, but that's your only (effective) choice. If it doesn't work out, then try to find a part time job. If you cannot afford a job, then it's absolutely deadlock here. I don't get your parents' point too

Excuse my manner, but that's one of the most bullshit type of excuse for being a loser I have ever heard. Once again, plz excuse my manner.
I rarely ever get any pocket money from my parent ever since I got to second semester of 7th grade. Maybe, like 200k per year. And I am most graceful to my parent for that. While most of my friends' parent just urge them to study at school, they let me try learning the Piano at "Nhạc Viện", chest from various teachers, poetry from books and drawing from a famed painter. Basically, "Cầm, Kỳ, Thi, Họa". Most of all, they let me go out and try to live my life from early age so that I learnt what making honest money is like. It is also that time when I learnt what to treasure in life and what I can do once I set my mind on something.
So, unlike you, I actuary much appreciate my parent for not giving me any pocket money at all. Parents are much wiser than a bunch of kids that never even face real hardship in life. So I suggest you rethink about everything and actuary be graceful toward your parent. Stop complaining, kidz.
p/s: 200k per year in this day value. In my youth, it should be around 30-50k.
