dashing in combos:
1) press "combo start", and the combo bar will start scrolling.
2) press any attacking skill at the allowed area of the bar to register it. the combo bar will now be "stuck".
3) while you're running towards your opponent, press dash. (important: only in this instance you can press non-attack skills, which are dash/fadestep/blink/heal/buffs/debuffs, otherwise the combo will cancel)
4) the combo bar will then start scrolling from start again, at a faster-than-usual rate.
5) press the same or another attacking skill (doesn't matter) at the allowed area of the bar to register it.
by this time you should already be in melee range to hit your opponent. if you're still not near enough, rinse and repeat with the dash.
a nifty trick done in the video includes fadestep, which makes life more difficult for your opponent. here's how it's done:
1) press "combo start", and the combo bar will start scrolling.
2) press any attacking skill at the allowed area of the bar to register it. the combo bar will now be "stuck".
3) while you're running towards your opponent, press fadestep to make him lose target of you.
4) the combo bar will then start scrolling from start again, at a faster-than-usual rate (seems WAY faster than if you were to press dash).
5) press the same or another attacking skill (doesn't matter) at the allowed area of the bar to register it.
6) the combo bar, like above, will now be "stuck" until you actually hit your opponent. while you're running towards your opponent, press dash to get to him instantly.
7) the combo bar will then start scrolling from start again, at a faster-than-usual rate.
8) press the same or another attacking skill (doesn't matter) at the allowed area of the bar to register it. you should, like in the video, hit your opponent.
