This is the story of a father and a son around a violin...
The enemy this time are the Fangire of the Vampire Clan, who live feeding on the life energy of humans.
The one who fights this Fangire is Kurenai Wataru, who, following the steps of his father, heads a violin workshop. He transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva with the power of a belt but he doesn't know why he transforms or why he fights.
The story unveils in two levels. One with Wataru in the present and the other 22 years ago, when Otoya (?) had married and had a son named Wataru.
Otoya (?) had failed to defeat a Fangire that 22 years later has returned to Japan. Wataru transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva and defeats it, connecting the present to the past.
However that is just what appers to be a connection. How are the destiny of the people living in different times connected? Why have the Fangire appeared and put the human kind in danger? And the destiny Otoya (?) and Wataru have been trusted with?
Each character lives in their time as the story develops.
There are only two men who know about these two times. Shima, who has made an organization of Fangire hunters and the Master of a Coffee Shop ("Cafe Mal D'Amour") that has been operating for 22 years, Kido.
The ones holding the key to understan the destiny of this people are those two man and the violin Wataru's father left for him!
