I've just had a chat with Cigar the other day/month. He's well and great with his married life (maybe). I will be sure to send him your confession of love, VAT. I expect him to be touched, with a pre-wedding one like that. =)

Sometimes we look back and get sentimental, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. It shows that your current life is great that you have time for such sissy thing. I think it's only bad when you start regretting or missing something in the past. =(
 
Dragged here by wiwi :) We have a lot of time in our so-called life... but we used it in different ways...No one prohibited you to use your time by your own way, but only ourselves could admit that we use it effective or we was going to waste our times for sissy things.. it's our choice. I admit that instead of use the time for upgrade ourselves or construct the great tower of relationship with another and learn many things from them, such as their skill, their vision about life... we use it to prove ourselves, and hope that by the way, another folks will acknowledge and eulogize our knowledge, skill, analysis ability... but the result is not what we want, the only things left is our relationship collapsed like the Berlin wall, and we hate each other step by step, day by day.
What is my choice now? absolutely not regretting something in the past, it's not important and cannot change the result, but at least I will try to change the way that I looked and illustrated everything around me. What I failed in the past can become the matterial, the ingredient for my current behavior. I will not try to use my logic to make my influence but my sentiment instead, I will not try to make another understand my value but I will try to understand them. The one that I married understood these rules so deep, so we reached the top of sentiment, it's love.
Hope that you will have a lot of wonderful and "creative" things in your marriage, your work, your family, your relationship... AVATV (I still don't remember your exactly nickname)

I just dropped by the secret headquarter of the green nick names. Last posts were last year, showing off facebooks. Went to them and kinda disappointed with how people look in real life lol. I mean, I was an attention whore back then so everybody got a chance to glance at me but now that everybody is revealed, it killed the mystery.

Marriage is kinda like that isnt it? When there is nothing more to discover, we commit and pray to god our differences wont prove to be too big in the long run.

I think if there was nothing more to discover, we'd already be too old to worry about the long run. Before that, it's just whether you dig enough. Or you got tired and decide that's all you'd ever see.

One of my much older friend told me: "There are 2 very important milestone in one's marriage life: 3 years and 10 years. If you manage to get pass 3 years, your marriage will last at least 10 years. If you get pass 10, it's a life time."

Later, I came to understand what she meant. 3 years for trying to co-habit with each other. 10 years for getting bored.

Only read this thread again today, and was really surprised at the news. Somehow a random joke turned into reality and Vát's really married now. Have known it through Facebook, but reading this thread now just understood the real reason. Congratulations Vát, you're going to be a father. Grab your balls tight, you'll need them. A kid's going to call you daddy. Man he's going to be the (almost) oldest of all the kids of the people in here. Ain't that something to be proud of? Raise him well, make sure he plays the good RPGs, and remember to find H-games that promote condom usage for him.
Second surprise was seeing shadow_cat again and sadly hearing news of your divorce. Once the deed's done though, hope you find what you want to in life further on. It's still pretty long right? Also just to keep in touch, what's your facebook?

You guys, this place might not exist in another 10 years time, but if it does you can bet on me coming back here again some time in the future. And it does get sentimental... I can share Vát's feelings to a certain extent.

Thanks IE for your understanding. I know the way I phrased it makes me look like a villain. It is okay to think so, as I honestly thought I was unreasonable. I am just...not ready for a kid yet.

And no, like hell I would show you guys my facebook. However, some of the people here who are living in the States might know me personally though. If you still remember how I look like, you can totally find me around DC everyday.

I've just finished my thesis. That also means my student life is over. I've started having dreams about it, and about the time I was younger with many teen problems which I used to seek consultancy from this forum because I didn't have the guts to tell my parents :D

Last thing I wanna hear is being reminded of my age. And I DID settle down. It just did not last very long. currently in Vietnam visiting family. If anybody wanna find me, just hang around West Lake.
