For Wargame Red Dragon
[SPOIL] Hi,
Open beta will finally be made available tomorrow, Wednesday 19th, exact hour is still being discussed, but should be "Valve time", meaning 7 PM here in France and something like 9 AM on US East Coast.
This beta will feature:
- access to all units.
- improved deck creation system, with clearer distinctions between thematic decks, and availabilitybonus per nation.
- multiplayer only, with 4 ground maps (two from the closed beta + two new ones).
- some new balancing.
What we are expecting are feedbacks about general game mechanics, map & deck balance. The latter doesn't imply "buff my nation / nerf the other" rants though ...
Naval part won't be featured yet, but shall be soon. We're still playtesting it.
Hence why the multiplayer maps are presently restricted to ground maps only, no mixed or naval maps yet.
Some known issues:
- some units still have placeholders. If I recall, it mostly concerns the WZ-551 (aka "Chinese VAV") and the VTT-323 series.
- some localization (unit names) issues: many are already fixed, but weren't generated in the last version.
- pre-made decks aren't up to date with the last deck changes.[/SPOIL]
