DN lai sắp thua trận nữa rồi. BD dường như quá mạnh khi cả hai trận đều giành thắng lợi trước DN
The match is in progress, 28 minutes of the second half have been played.
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 72000 to Binh Duong Arena. Duong started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Syversen - den Heijer, Kološa, Saska - Castellini, Kihltorp, Melamed, Vinterwald, Verveer - Baldassarri, Rochau.
Nang had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Håkansson - Fröhall, Vandenbroucke, Alvarez - Aramburu, Jieh, Tonono, Medel, Barnard - Meyer, Pettersson.
A peculiar volley from Roland Saska almost resulted in a goal, but Luca Castellini wasn't able to exploit the well-timed pass. Duong could have put themselves ahead in the 31st minute but Hans-Peter Baldassarri missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 in the 33rd minute after a breakthrough from Swen Rochau, who, unaided, came in out of the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. Ronnie Fröhall of Nang received a yellow card in the 34th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 38 minutes played, Hans-Peter Baldassarri could have brought this one home for Duong as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Duong put themselves up 2 - 0 when Shalom Melamed broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. The teams went for a halftime break at 2 - 0. Duong held the ball, with a clear 58 percent possession rate.
Duong's Swen Rochau had an excellent opportunity in the 56th minute, shooting on a through ball, but he missed the goal by miles! After an industrious effort down the middle, Roland Saska could have closed the game off in the 61st minute, but his finishing shot hit the post. After 68 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Hans-Peter Baldassarri might have resulted in another goal for Duong. However, Johan Håkansson made a spectacular save.
