-Normal Summoning a Gemini Monster to have it treated as an Effect Monster is not a different type of Summon rule. It is an act where you Normal Summon the monster once again when it's face-up on the field.
-Normal Summoning a Gemini Monster to have it treated as an Effect Monster counts as your 1 Normal Summon for the turn. So you cannot Normal Summon another monster (other than by the effect of another card, such as "Ultimate Offering" or "Double Summon").
-You do not need to tribute monsters to Normal Summon a high level Gemini Monster treated as an Effect Monster.
-You cannot change the Battle Position of a monster the turn it was Normal Summoned after already being face-up. However, you can change battle Position of the monster card before you Normal Summon it.
-Summoning a Gemini Monster to have it treated as an Effect Monster does not mean it leaves or is placed on the field.
-You can negate the Summoning of an already face-up monster with "Solemn Judgment", etc. You may also chain cards like Torrential Tribute. However, you cannot negate the re-summon with cards like "Divine Wrath".
If a Gemini Monster is flipped face-down or leaves the field temporaily it is no longer considered to have been Normal Summoned to be treated as an Effect Monster.
-You cannot Normal Summon an already face-up Gemini Monster that has already gained its effect.
-Gemini Monsters vs. "Skill Drain": The effects that treat a Gemini Monster as a Normal Monster, allows you to summon an already face-up Gemini Monster, and the effect gained afterwards are all negated if "Skill Drain" is already active. If "Skill Drain" is activated after a Gemini Monster is treated as an Effect Monster the effect it gains is negated. If "Skill Drain" leaves the field, the effect returns. All Gemini Monsters are treated as an Effect Monsters while "Skill Drain" is active.
-Gemini Monsters vs. "Dark Ruler Ha Des": If "Dark Ruler Ha Des" destroys a Gemini Monster by battle the Gemini Monster would not be treated as a Normal Monster while in the Graveyard.
-Gemini Monsters vs. "Ceasefire": If a set Gemini Monster is flipped face-up by the effect of "Ceasefire" is treated as a Normal Monster and will not cause an additional 500 damage.
-Gemini Monsters vs. "Equip Cards": All Equip Cards will remain equipped to the Gemini Monster after it is summoned to be treated as an Effect Monster. Effects such as "Premature Burial's" destruction effect will still apply if "Premature Burial" is destroyed even if the monster has been summoned to be treated as an Effect Monster.
