Close Information of Event and 2nd Closed Bets Server

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

Exp/Gold drop/Item drop Event, held in compensation for the roll-back on the Xian server, and the Christmas Event will close at today’s server maintenance time. We would like to thank you for your participation. Today’s regular server maintenance will be from 14:00.

1. Exp/Gold drop/Item drop Event closes on Xian server
- Jan. 3rd of 2006 (Korean Time) from the time of server maintenance

2. Christmas Event Close
- Jan. 3rd of 2006 (Korean Time) from the time of server maintenance

3. Server Maintenance
- 14:00 ~ 16:00 Jan. 3rd of 2006 (Korean Time)

And 2nd Closed Beta Service Period that started from Nov. 25th of 2005 will be closed at 15:00 Jan. 9th of 2006 (Korean Time). We have tested Network Settings between Server and Client carefully during this Closed Beta Service. We have made great progress with your assistance.

- Qualification of tester: Unlimited
- All characters will be kept from Close Beta Service FOREVER.
- Silkroad Online is FREE game FOREVER.
- Awkward English name of Skill, Item, Monster and etc. will be modified. And 40 new Quests will be updated.
- Additional Game information will be posted on Homepage.
- When you connect to server, Patch will be started automatically.
We will provide you manual patch and full client also for slow Network speed.

The main purpose of this Close Beta Test is to test system stability related with game.
Silkroad Online would like to ask a favor to continuous deep attention of you.

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Beta Test period will begin very shortly. Since we have finished with the network oriented phase of this entire testing period, this period will focus on the bettering the gameplay and player experience with the introduction of an anti-cheat program. This program will start at the same time you enter the game. We will be testing this as well as other gameplay elements during this test.

We are working hard on finalizing preparations for this test and have tentatively set the date for the start of the 3rd Beta Test on January 24, 2006 (Korean Standard Time[ shown on the left side of the front page of this site]).

When the 3rd Closed Beta went live, users responded with a desire for a new update.

We would appreciate it greatly if users could understand that the 3rd Closed Beta period is primarily focused on testing Nprotect and increasing system stability in order to further strengthen the foundations of this game and the experience. Adding anything new before we are sure that the foundations are secure would be a disservice to you, our users.

It may have been difficult for us to have implemented additional elements because of this focus, however the voices and opinions of you, our players, are very important to us. More than that, we believe that in order to allow easier access to even more members of the Silkroad Online experience we are happy to announce that a new server is ready for you to live in.

Tạm dịch (chả biết có đúng ko, ko đúng xin các bác đừng chửi, tội nghiệp): Donwhang Caves được mở một cách tình cờ vượt trước cái lịch mà chúng tôi đã định từ trước. Do đó nó đã ko được kiểm tra một cách cẩn thận. Những quest, skill, item mới chưa được cập nhập, nên chúng tôi phải đóng nó lại. Donwhang Caves sẽ được thêm vào trong bản cập nhật lần sau với những quest, skill, item, lvl mới. Chúng tôi mong rằng các bạn sẽ kiên nhẫn để đợi đến bản cập nhật lần sau để thưởng thức bữa tiệc này :p

Q. Why were the Tuanhuang Stone Caves removed?

A. The Tuanhuang caves were removed because they were released accidentally ahead of schedule in our most recent update. For this reason, this area was not tested completely. In addition, because the items and skills, relevant to that area, were not updated and included, we decided to remove the area from the servers at this time. Tuanhuang Stone Caves will be included in the next update as will new skills, items, quests, and the level cap will be raised. So we ask for your patience in waiting for this area to come out at the appropriate time.
