Important notes:
-
Mag appears to consider (in terms of evolution) both ofensive and defensive stats as a single one. This means that if your mag has at level 30, for example, 10 SATK, 8 SDEF and 12 Ability, it's "dominant" stat will be the melee stats even being Ability the highest individual one, as the sum of both striking stats is higher.
So, to simplify terms, we'll refer here as "striking stats" for SATK + SDEF, "ranged stats" for RATK + RDEF and "tech stats" for TATK + TDEF; Ability goes by itself. The balance between those pairs doesn't seem to affect the evolution.
- When we talk about a "dominant" stat, this means that the stat must be individually higher than the rest (but aplying the previous rule about stat grouping). So if it's stated that, for example, Striking must be "dominant", the value of the SATK + SDEF must be higher than RATK + RDEF, TATK + TDEF and Ability.
In the chart you will see two types of "maths": Something like "Striking > Ranged/Tech/Ability" means that Striking stats must be higher than the other three types, but
it doesn't need to be higher than the sum of them; while "Striking > Ranged + Tech + Ability" would mean that Striking stats
must be higher than the sum of the other three types.
- Mags attemp to "update" their form every 5 levels. This means that you might have a mag that just reached stats that should turn it into a different one, but still didn't do. For it to happen it must reach a multiple of 5. For example, if you have a mag that is 30 striking, it'd be a Lyra. If you start raising it towards Ability from there, it wouldn't change into Antlia until level 65, efectively having a striking mag with more Ability points than Striking points for a short period.
- Once mags evolve into their third form they will be able to change only between the types of the same "brand". A mag that went into the "ranged branch" at level 100 won't be able to turn into a striking, Ability or Tech type, no matter how you raise the stats afterwards. For this reason, you can raise a mag to the point that it would have higher stats other than their "brand" stat, like having a Ranged type mag that has higher tech stats than ranged ones.
Also, because of the previous rule, the mag won't update its type between levels 95~100, making efectively impossible to change a mag main "brand" from level 95. If you reach level 95 with a striking mag, it will evolve into any of the three striking types, even if you managed to increase any other stat past the Striking ones.
However, between level 30 and 95, mags will be able to change freely between the 4 types, and from level 100 onward they can change between their "brand" types if you modify their stats accordingly.
Striking types
- Lyra (ライラ) - > Striking > Ranged/Tech/Ability
Basic mag evolves into Lyra when its striking stats are dominant.
- Delphinus (ドルフィヌス) -> Striking => Ranged + Tech + Ability
Lyra evolves into Delphinus when its total amount in Striking stats is equal to or greater than the total amount in all remaining stats.
- Cygnus (キグナス) -> Ranged > Tech // Striking < Ranged + Tech + Ability
Lyra evolves into Cygnus when the total amount in Ranged stats is greater than Tech stats. Also, Striking stat must still be the dominant stat until level 95 (otherwise it would change into a non-melee oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Striking stats must be always lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Delphinus).
- Libra (ライブラ) -> Tech > Ranged // Striking < Ranged + Tech + Ability
Lyra evolves into Libra when the total amount in Tech stats is greater than Ranged stats. Also, Striking stat must still be the dominant stat until level 95 (otherwise it would change into a non-melee oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Striking stats must be lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Delphinus).
Ranged types
- Fornax (フォルナクス) - > Ranged > Striking/Tech/Ability
Basic mag evolves into Fornax when its ranged stats are dominant.
- Cepheus (ケフェウス) -> Ranged => Striking + Tech + Ability
Fornax evolves into Cepheus when its total amount in Ranged stats is equal to or greater than the total amount in all remaining stats.
- Tucana (ツカナ) -> Striking > Tech // Ranged < Striking + Tech + Ability
Fornax evolves into Tucana when the total amount in Striking stats is greater than Tech stats. Also, Ranged stat must still be the dominant stat until level 95 (otherwise it would change into a non-ranged oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Ranged stats must be lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Cepheus).
- Caelum (カエルム) -> Tech > Striking // Ranged < Striking + Tech + Ability
Fornax evolves into Caelum when the total amount in Tech stats is greater than Striking stats. Also, Ranged stat must still be the dominant stat until level 95 (otherwise it would change into a non-ranged oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Ranged stats must be lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Cepheus).
Tech types
- Lepus (レプス) - > Tech > Striking/Ranged/Ability
Basic mag evolves into Lepus when its Tech stats are dominant.
- Monoceros (モノケロス) -> Tech => Striking + Ranged + Ability
Lepus evolves into Monoceros when its total amount in Tech stats is equal to or greater than the total amount in all remaining stats.
- Carina (カリーナ) -> Striking > Ranged // Tech < Striking + Ranged + Ability
Lepus evolves into Carina when the total amount in Striking stats is greater than Ranged stats. Also, Tech stat must still be the dominant stat until level 95 (otherwise it would change into a non-tech oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Tech stats must be lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Monoceros).
- Orion (オリオン) -> Ranged > Striking // Tech < Striking + Ranged + Ability
Lepus evolves into Orion when the total amount in Ranged stats is greater than Striking stats. Also, Tech stat must still be the dominant stat until level (otherwise it would change into a non-tech oriented mag), BUT the total amount in Tech stats must be lower than the total amount in all remaining stats (otherwise it would evolve into Monoceros).
Ability types
- Antlia (アントリア) - > Ability > Striking/Ranged/Tech
Basic mag evolves into Antlia when its Ability stat is dominant.
- Crux (クルックス) -> Ability > Striking/Ranged/Tech
Antlia evolves into Crux when its Ability stat is dominant.
- Leo (レオ) -> Striking > All
Antlia evolves into Leo when the striking stats are the dominant stats. However, for this to happen it must reach level 95 as an Antlia, meaning that until level 95, the dominant stat must be Ability.
- Corvus (コルブス) -> Ranged > Striking/Tech/Ability
Antlia evolves into Corvus when the Ranged stats are the dominant stats. However, for this to happen it must reach level 95 as an Antlia, meaning that until level 95, the dominant stat must be Ability.
- Apus (アプス) -> Tech > Striking/Ranged/Ability
Antlia evolves into Apus when the Tech stats are the dominant stats. However, for this to happen it must reach level 95 as an Antlia, meaning that until level 95, the dominant stat must be Ability.
