Getting VIP status on GameFAQs limits what you're allowed to post, so I have no intention of doing it. I post here as a fan first and foremost, and would hate to be restricted from going on my usual rants and rampages.
Can't comment on PC Trails, but it's definitely something we're looking into, so fingers crossed for some sort of confirmation on that front sometime in the future!
As for Trails 2, we certainly haven't given up on it at all, and fully intend to release it when it's ready. The problem is, we have absolutely NO IDEA when that will be, as there's still a lot of work left to do -- and this industry is so unpredictable, there's no way of guaranteeing anything. Between now and when it's ready for release, we could go out of business, lose our Falcom partnership, get possessed by alien ghosts... who knows?
We've been burned before by announcing a project early, then running into complications and being forced to shelve it, and that's not a situation we want to be in again -- especially not with a series as beloved by fans as Trails. Imagine how much it would **** if we were to announce Trails 2, then cancel it a few months later!
So our official statement is essentially a "no comment" for the moment. But rest assured, as long as things continue to go smoothly, Trails 2 in English WILL be a reality... eventually.
We'll give an official statement, one way or another, once the end is in sight.
