Namco Bandai is hosting a club event for the PlayStation Vita version of Ridge Racer in Shibuya's Dougenzaka area, just a hop, skip and about 50 or 60 meters from the former worldwide headquarters of Andriasang.com.
The PlayStation Vita Ridge Racer Night event will be held on March 3 from 16:30 to 22:00. The event will feature Namco Bandai sound legend Hiroshi Okubo and other musicians spinning "Ridge Sound" (presumably music from the various Ridge Racer games).
Entry to the event is ¥500. See the flyer here.
For those who can't attend, Namco Bandai will be broadcasting the event live. Access the Namco Bandai Ustream channel when the time comes.
Wondering why Persona 4 The Golden costs over 7,000 yen? Here's one reason: it has new stuff!
We already detailed some of the new costumes and events. Famitsu this week reveals that the game also has a gardening component. You can build your own garden, planting and raising plants.
Famitsu also has a look at the game's new opening animation, new winter clothing for your characters, and more evolved Personas. We'll hopefully get an online look later this week!

Motorstorm RC, Evolution Studios’ latest racer for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, will launch on March 6 in North America (it is out today in Europe).
The game features eight classic Motorstorm vehicle types, including Buggies and Super Cars, and four game types: Race, Drift (power slide for points), Pursuit (get to first place from last place as fast as possible), and Hot Lap (race against the clock for fastest single-lap time). The PlayStation 3 version features split-screen multiplayer for up to four players. PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita version players can play cross-platform online.

Hideo Kojima is checking up on progress on Zone of the Enders HD Edition. Via Twitter today, he shared this pic showing the title screen for Anubis.
As fast as it came, it has gone. Yesterday, a PlayStation Vita version of LittleBigPlanet Karting popped up on games rental service GameFly. Sony has told us that the listing is false.
“LittleBigPlanet Karting is a PS3 game,” a Sony rep said. “GameFly is incorrect.”
There you have it. LittleBigPlanet Karting is PlayStation 3-exclusive. Do away with your thoughts of cross-platform karting.

Sony will be sending out representatives to retailers to help promote PlayStation Vita. Their name: PS Vita Masters.
PS Vita Masters will be stationed at select game shops from tomorrow (2/25) through April 1. They'll help you out if you're not sure about buying a Vita, and will explain things like 3G, non-game applications, and recommended peripherals.
See the PlayStation Vita Experience page for a list of shops where PS Vita Masters will be stationed.
So how do you tell who's a PS Vita Master and who's just some regular old Bic Camera employee? Just look for this official shirt:![]()

Support the fan campaign.
We love fan campaigns here at Gematsu, so whenever we’re able to help one out, it’s always a pleasure. This time, fans are pushing to get Borderlands 2 on PlayStation Vita. And Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford wants to make it happen.
Responding to an e-mail from a fan regarding the FPS / RPG hybrid on the handheld, Pitchford said:
Hi [name withheld],
Thanks for the e-mail – I loved it!
I love the Vita as do a lot of folks at the studio and we have explored this.
We’ll need some partner’s help and partner’s commitments to make this happen. Feel free to let Sony and 2K Games and your favorite retailer know what you think.
Cheers!
- Randy
